THE SECRET PLACEMusic by Jeff Lippencott Words by R.C. SproulWho dwells within His most secret placeIs never far from His blessed grace’Neath His great shadow all will be wellNo better place now for us to dwellRefrainThe secret place of God Most HighThe shadow of our mighty KingThe dwelling place where angels cryIs where our praise will forever ringFear not the terror that comes at nightNor flaming arrows by morning lightHis truth is always our sword and shieldAgainst His power, all foes must yieldRefrainA thousand fall now at ev’ry sideTen thousand more may have yet to dieYet plague and sword canNe’er kill the soulHis angels guard us now safe and wholeRefrainRefuge and fortress for all who trustNo safer pasture for men of dust’Neath wings and feathers of Holy LordNo greater comfort can He affordRefrain

HIGHLAND HYMNMusic by Jeff Lippencott Words by R.C. SproulAbove the mists of Highland hillsE’en far above the clear blue skiesThe end of pain and earthly illsWhen we shall see His eyesRefrainLutes will singPipers playWhen we see Him face to faceOn that dayHis face now hidden from our sightConcealed from ev’ry hidden gazeIn hearts made pure from sinful flightIs the bliss that will amazeRefrainWe know not yet what we will beIn heaven’s final blessed stateBut know we now that we shall seeOur Lord at heaven’s gateThe beatific glory viewThat now our souls still long to seeWill make us all at once anewAnd like Him forever beRefrain
