Saint ConstanceCATHOLIC CHURCH“The St. Constance Parish Family is a communityof believers, dedicated to walking in the ways of Jesus, guided by His light and filled with His love,to bring about His Kingdom and share itwith everyone by putting our FAITH into ACTION.”21555 KINYON TAYLOR, MI 48180 PHONE: 313-291-4050 FAX: 313-291-5655Third Sunday of Easter - May 5, 2019Lift Up Your HeartsToday our parish family celebrates the reception of FirstHoly Communion with the 14 children of this year’s class.I looked up some statistics about HUNGER: Fourteenpercent of children in our state suffer from “Food Insecurity”:HUNGER!Jesus said: “I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE”The connection is very plain. Sometimes Catholics choose tostarve themselves by choosing to disregard the Eucharist,THE BREAD OF LIFE.Oh, I know life is super-busy. And yet, parents have chosento raise their children and to nourish them with the Bread of Life.Today we celebrate this new beginning of life with Jesus, who is the Bread of Life.Today we rejoice with these families and pray that they willbe sustained in this spiritual nourishment as they continue tocome and celebrate the Eucharist at mass. With love, Fr.
