P O W E RT O W E RThe SurgeThe FallsTHE SURGE TUBE SLIDE THE FALLS AND THE DROP TUBE SLIDES Starting at the top of the 121-foot Power Tower, this 1 or 2-person innertube ride features a camelback drop into a canyon, then quicklymoves down, twisting and turning through whitewater rapids.For both these rides: While seated in a 1 or 2-person inner tube, arider slides 58 feet to ground level before they are propelled upwardthrough a water coaster of twisting tubes.HOW TO ACCESS — Access this slide by walking up seven flightsof steps, stepping onto a platform with 2 steps, and loweringyourself into a seated position into a 1 or 2-person inner tube that isapproximately one-foot off the floor.HOW TO ACCESS — Access these a ractions in two ways: ThroughThe Current on an inner tube onto our Power Tower conveyor,which takes riders directly to the mouth of either slide. Or bywalking up five flights of steps and lowering yourself approximatelythree steps down into a seated position in a floating inner tube.HOW TO ENJOY — While riding in a seated position in an innertube, guests must be able to grip the tube handles and use theirarms, upper, mid and lower body strength to maintain a ridingposture. “Splashdown” is into a 4-foot deep river where the riderhas the option of staying in the inner tube and riding around TheCurrent. Riders must be able to exit The Rapids River on their own.THE ABYSS BODY SLIDE This thrilling, 200-foot long body slide begins with a 50-footnear-vertical drop through complete darkness and ends with asplash through waterfalls into an underground lair of prehistoricalligator gars and fish.HOW TO ENJOY — While riding in a seated position in an innertube, guests must be able to grip the tube handles and use theirarms, upper, mid and lower body strength to maintain a ridingposture. R I V E RR I D E SK I D SThe CurrentP O O L SRipplesTHE CURRENT/RAPIDS RIVERRIPPLESGuests are propelled along an active, mile-long river in their innertubes by churning rapids, 3- to 4-foot waves, and conveyor belts.This children’s a raction offers a shallow pool, flume slide and fountains.HOW TO ACCESS AND ENJOY — Use the Royal Towers outdoorpathways located at the base of the Mayan Temple. The maximumdepth is 1 4 in. For flume slide, guests must climb flights of stepsand lower themselves to sit level with floor.HOW TO ACCESS — Access by walking down a flight of steps orusing a zero-entry edge from level or slightly inclined pool decks.HOW TO ENJOY — While seated in an inner tube, guests use theirhands, arms, upper, mid and lower body strength to maintain ridingposture. The depth of the river varies between zero inches andfour feet.POSEIDONThis shallow water pool features a mushroom-shaped fountain andplay floats.LAZY RIVERGuests will enjoy this relaxing, scenic river as they sit in inner tubesand are guided by a gentle current.HOW TO ACCESS AND ENJOY — This pool is adjacent to theLazy River and can be accessed by the Coral Towers outdoorpathways. The maximum depth is 1 7 in.HOW TO ACCESS — Access requires walking down 8 steps.SPLASHERSHOW TO ENJOY — Experience this ride while seated in an innertube. Guests will use their hands, arms, upper, mid and lower bodystrength to maintain riding posture. There is a 6” tallcurb that a guest must cross to enter the pool.HOW TO ENJOY — Guests with mobility challenges may requireassistance entering the water. Guests with special needs must informthe Dolphin Cay staff in advance of their booking so that any availableaccommodations can be made.BEHIND THE SCENES TOURTake an exclusive first-hand look at how our animals are cared for,while lending a hand and learning interesting facts about eachspecies, their natural environment, and their Atlantis habitats.HOW TO ACCESS — Access by using a flat grade walkway to reachthe orientation location. Guests are transported to various pointsof the tour using a motorized cart for which guests may requireassistance transferring off and on.HOW TO ENJOY — Participants will navigate the experience bywalking or using a wheelchair over a flat grade floor and by way ofelevator in multi-story buildings. Friends and family of participants can get complimentary access toan observation platform or the beach area to watch the playfuldolphins and their interaction. The south ramp leads to a top view and the northramp leads to acrylic panels for an underwater view.HOW TO ENJOY — Walk or use a wheelchair over a flat grade floorwhile observing marine animals through clear acrylic panels. SNORKEL THE RUINSAG EGuests can snorkel through the unique underwater vistas of TheRuins Lagoon alongside sleek sharks, spo ed rays and brilliantlycolored tropical fish.HOW TO ACCESS — Access from the Royal Towers lobby level orfrom ground level by using an elevator in the Dig, adjacent to theGreat Hall of Waters.HOW TO ENJOY — Non-participating guests can observe marineanimals from above or below the exhibit by walking or using a wheelchair over a flat grade floor. From Royal Towers, access requires traveling overwooden or concrete bridges.HOW TO ENJOY — Guests are provided with a mask, snorkel, andfins, and dive about 10 feet to explore the lagoon bo om whilebreathing through a regulator a ached to the end of a 20-foothose.
