2021 FULL-TIME MBAEMPLOYMENT REPORT2021 Full-Time MBA Employment Report Johns Hopkins Carey Business School 1

WELCOMEThis year, the enormity of the pandemic showed sentiment towards long-term effects on the global economy. But this did not deter our MBA students commitment to innovation and creativity for success. In fact, thepandemic accelerated the need to embrace a new modality of learning for the future. The resiliency of this class was admirable as they dealt with and adapted to adverse and often painfulcircumstances during times of great uncertainty. Our graduates twice shifted from virtual learning to a hybridmodel, while refining how to apply knowledge to their co-curricular and experiential activities. The studentsworked in collaboration with the career development team, staff, and faculty to establish new connections withalumni and employers - all while having no script to use as a basis. Our graduates continued to stand out to our employer partners, securing jobs in diverse locations with topemployers including Amazon, Abbott, and Microsoft. Most notably, we saw an increase in jobs offered andaccepted by graduation, which was highest increase in the history of Carey’s full-time MBA program. Over64 percent of our graduates reported that the primary source of their job offers was facilitated by the JohnsHopkins Carey Business School network – a more than 10 percent increase from the previous year. Not only did our graduates learn how to quickly pivot and deal with ambiguity, but they also used the skillslearned in their MBA program to develop viable solutions to surpass challenges posed by the pandemic. Pleasetake the time to explore our 2021 full-time MBA employment data to see the Johns Hopkins difference.Christy MurrayAssistant Dean, Career DevelopmentNote: This report conforms to the MBA Career Services & EmployerAlliance Standards for Reporting MBA Employment Statistics.
