Coltrain, marked his 30 year anniversary as a recording artistlast year on October 27th and is releasing a version of his greatesthits CD called 30 Years of Coltrain in March. His first single whichcharted back in 1986 called 'The Way I Feel Tonight' it was originally on vinyl and remastered.J.K. Coltrain was born in Columbus, Ohio. He spent his early childhood days between there and West Virginia where his parents operated a small Mom & Pop grocery store. J.K. grew up surrounded bymusic & musicians. His cousin, Buddy Starcher was a professionalrecording artist on Columbia Records and was a regular performer onthe popular Midwestern & Louisiana Hayrides.
