Evangelization CornerEucharistic Kristin MolitorAdorationDear Friends,Happy Divine Mercy Sunday!Cluster AdorationEvery Monday and afterweekday MassesThe “heart” of the Divine Mercy message is radical trust inJesus. But it’s difficult for us to trust Jesus when we don’t reallyunderstand how much He loves us. This is why St. Faustina spenther life teaching us about “The Heart” - the Sacred Heart - behindthe Divine Mercy message.Jesus speaks about His Sacred Heart to St. Faustina in her diary:"I have opened My heart as a living fountain of mercy. Let allsouls draw life from it.” If we want to grow in our Trust in Jesus,we must spend time gazing upon His pierced side on a daily basis. The pierced side of Jesus provides an opening for us to see HisHeart. The Scriptures consider the heart to be more than aphysical organ; it is the core and the most expressive element ofa person. In other words, the heart is the essence of theperson. That's why when lovers "share their hearts,” they arereally revealing to the other the essence of who they are. When Jesus reveals His Heart to us, he reveals the core of who Heis: Divine Love given and poured out for us. Jesus’ Heart reveals tous that He is Mercy. And what is Mercy? It is a love that goes outto alleviate misery. We need Jesus' love to touch our misery, but often our faith is tooweak to believe in such a wonderful and unconditional love. Intoday's Gospel, Thomas's faith is strengthened after he is invitedto put his hand in Jesus' side. Jesus’ pierced side teaches Thomasthat Jesus is trustworthy.Brothers and sisters, today Jesus invites each one of us to gazeinto His pierced side. Like Thomas, it is here where our misery ismet with mercy and it is here where we learn to Trust.O blood and water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus asa fountain of mercy for us, I trust in youThe Healing Power of GodRemember in prayer all who are in need of theLord’s healing and strength especially:Teckla Scegura, Dave Scegura, Lee Larkey, Arnold Voss, Residentsand Staff at Mother of Mercy, Al Hartung, Theresa Johannes,Fr.
