This time there is fact, and the facts show that thekey to a healthy life is a starch-based diet.SO WHAT IS A STARCH-BASED DIET?A starch-based diet is a nutritional regimen thatfuels your body through 70% starch, 10% fruits and 20%vegetables while cutting out meats, dairy and certain oils.Currently spearheaded by Dr. John McDougall, starchbased diets date as far back as the Neanderthals; withother evidence showing it’s existence throughout eventhe Aztec and Mayan civilizations. FEATURE005Not only does that menu probably effectivelytantalize your taste buds it also does something that I’veoften found other diets lacked: it has the ability to actuallymake you feel fully satisfied. In my own experience ofthem, both potatoes and legumes have always beenamongst the most filling food items I’ve ever consumed,even more so than most of the meats I used to eat. So notonly does this diet allow you to continue to enjoy deliciousfoods it also satisfies the expanded hunger requirementsour previous dietary choices have programmed us tofeel we need. By having this feature it allows for an eveneasier transition to both beginning the diet and also lateradjusting to a more appropriate consumption quantity.WHAT TO AVOID AND WHY?As previously mentioned the starch-based dietalso comes with a number of things we are advised notto consume. These include but are not limited to: meat,fish, dairy, eggs, animal fats, vegetable oil, olive oil andprocessed foods. In the same Ted Talk, Dr. McDougallalso states that the majority of these foods were onlyever introduced into our regular diets through wealth. Aswe became wealthier we then became more enabled toeat in more exotic ways and began consuming starchvicariously through animals. Doing this, forced our bodiesto become more effective at gathering calories andoutwardly making us more obese, overweight and ill.Much like anything else we have come to understandthe solution never lies in working with the adjustmentsour bodies or consciousness were forced to make, butinstead simplifying them back to the way they werenaturally designed. Numerous individuals that haveadopted the starch-based diet under the leadership of Dr.McDougall have seen arthritis, heart disease, diabetes,cancer and obesity all be cured.“When you stop doing things that makepeople sick, they get well.”WHY STARCH?As a carbohydrate, starch is not only a great sourceof nutrients it is also very low in fat making it ideal forweight loss. We are only mostprofitable to big business when sick, we are a weakasset to have lingering around when either healthyor dead, so what better way to stay profitable then topromote medications and diets that keep us that way.“The solution is simple but it doesn’t favor business,that’s the problem.” – Dr. McDougallIt is therefore up to us to begin both adopting andpromoting diets such as this within our own networksand friend circles. Itis very important to be sleeping in a very dark room,because during this time and more so in the darkyour pineal gland and also something called thehypothalamus produces a very important chemicalcalled melatonin. Melatonin is sometimes known as‘The Dracula of Hormones.’Melatonin is an extremely powerful antioxidantthat has many benefits to your health. The best partis, you produce it naturally, in your sleep! Butternut squash just happens tobe a great winter vegetable! Not only is it great tasting, but great for your health as well. Did you know that ButternutSquash is an excellent source of fibre, vitamin C, manganese, magnesium, and potassium. It is also an excellentsource of beta-Carotene and vitamin E? Try out my recipe for Creamy Vegan Roasted Butternut Squash Soup for atasty winter treat. (Yes it’s Vegan, and its creamy!)NEEDED INGREDIENTS:SOUP1 Medium Butternut Squash1 Onion, diced1 Tsp. Cumin2-3 Cloves Garlic, crushed2 Tbsp. Oil of your choice2 Cups Vegetable Broth1-2 Cups Purified WaterSea Salt and Pepper to tasteGARLIC BREAD6-8 1” Slices Multi-grain Baguette3 Tbsp. Vegan Butter (I like to use ‘Earth Balance’)Pinch of dried Oregano¼ Tsp. Sea Salt2-3 Cloves minced garlic (This number is entirelyup to you, I love garlic! So if the cloves are small,I might even do 4)Garlic Bread Prep Steps:1. Slice the bread.2. Mix the remaining ingredients together3. Spread on sliced bread4. Turn on the broiler on your oven5. Place the pieces of buttered bread on a cookiesheet6. Broil for 1-2 Minutes. Be careful, depending onhow fast your oven heats up, these could be donein even less time, keep an eye on them.

HEALTH013Butternut Squash Soup Prep Steps:1. Preheat oven to 425 F2. Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and drizzle with oil, andsprinkle with salt and pepper3. Place squash in roasting pan or cookie sheet and cook for about 35-45minutes or until you can poke the flesh easily with a fork and it is tender.Let sit until cool enough to handle.4. When the squash is about 10 minutes away from being done, sauté theonions and garlic, in 1 tbsp. of oil in a soup pot until the onions are tender,and then add the broth and simmer on very low heat until the squash isdone and cooled.5. Once the squash has cooled, scoop the flesh out of the skin, and dice itinto chunks; then add the squash into the pot with the onions, garlic andstock.6. Cook for about 5 minutes and then either transfer the mixture into ablender and blend until smooth. This is where you will need to add thewater. Add the water until it is a desired consistency, this is entirely up toyou OR use a stand mixture directly into the pot and puree the mixtureuntil smooth (You will need to add some water if using this method aswell, be careful not to add too much.)7. Now pour the soup back into the pot and let simmer for a few minutes-at this point you can add some salt if desired.8. Enjoy!

We evenhave official documentation that hasbeen released via the government aswell as three letter agencies like theFBI, NSA and CIA. UFO researchersare also uncovering the reality throughthe Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).The point is, that UFOs are real andthe fact that the control structure isleaking this information means somewithin it want the human race to knowthat we are not the only ones in theuniverse, even though we are figuringit out on our own. Why else would theyadmit to having programs that study thephenomenon? I know that Hollywoodand the mainstream world have beamedus with a lot of fear, and when it comesto UFOs and extraterrestrials, there is alot of perception control. Basically, wesee a lot of violent and scary movies,and we already have an idea of whatextraterrestrials would represent. I do notthink the ones who control the world’sresources have our best interest in hand,and the fact that they spend so mucheffort covering up the UFO phenomenongives more credibility to the fact that itmight not be a bad thing.Extraterrestrials and UFOs arenothing to fear, they will not be invadingus.
