Althoughthere are many books on those subjects, they still remain perplexing.I started my own research over 40 years ago. The bestI found was when I did my own study of the entireBible. First, I listed all faith and healing scriptures. Then,I trimmed my long list. Next, I personalized theremaining scriptures. Finally, I started meditatingon them.This eBook contains my personal list of healingscriptures. As you meditate on these promises, theydrop from your head to your heart. This is when youchange from mental assent to belief. How to Meditate On ScriptureHow to Meditate On Scripture“Meditate” in the Hebrew language means “to speak or mutter.” Therefore,the Jewish way to meditate is to mumble out loud the Words of God.When meditating on Scripture,I do the following (examplesfound in the box to the right):1) Personalize the verse.2) Visualize yourself doingwhat the verse says.3) Speak the verse out loud.4) Add descriptive wording.Psalm 91:1 [Personalizing]“He who dwells.” [Unpersonalized]becomes“I dwell.” [Personalized]Psalm 91:1 [Descriptive Wording]“I dwell, [I actually breathe and liveinhaling the rarefied air of heaven] inthe secret place of the Most High.”3

How to Meditate On ScriptureHow to Meditate On ScriptureYou must not just be meditating without experiential knowledge ofJesus otherwise it is just religious. To obtain experiential knowledgeof God you must believe He sent Jesus to die for your sins andconfess Him out loud as yourLord and Savior and ask Himto live in you.You receive deeper experientialknowledge by reading the Bibledaily, praying in tongues dailyand living a life of praise andworship by being constantlyaware that the Messiah is livingin you, loves you and is guidingyou. Enjoy His presence 24/7.Experience more of Him eachday. Really make Him Lord. Then it will dawn on you that you aretotally whole in Him!4

Moreover, in view of the promise of God, he didnot vacillate in the sphere of unbelief between two mutuallyexclusive expectations but was strengthened with respect to hisfaith, having given glory to God, and was fully persuaded thatwhat He had promised with finality He was able also to do.8

Healing ScripturesJames 1:2-4,12I consider it wholly joyful.whenever I am enveloped in orencounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.I am assured and understand that the trial andproving of my faith brings out endurance andsteadfastness and patience.I let endurance and steadfastness and patience have fullplay and do a thorough work in me, so that I may beperfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lackingin nothing. I am blessed (happy, to be envied) when I ampatient under trial and stand up under temptation, forwhen I have stood the test and been approved, I willreceive [the victor’s] crown of life which God haspromised to me because I love Him.19
