INTRODUCTIONThe Creation Story:When God created the world and all we see around us, He spoke all thingsinto being. He very carefully and lovingly prepared this world and all that is in it likeparents would prepare a nursery for the new born baby.He did it all for man to enjoy all his days upon the earth. God spoke to theearth and the trees and all vegetation came into being. If you take a tree outof the soil – its source – it dies. God did the same with the fish in the sea –He spoke to the waters and created all the sea / water creatures and plants.Again, if you take the fish out of its source, it dies. When God made man, He spoke to Himself: “Let Us make man in OurImage.” He took out of Himself LIFE which belongs to Him only, and placed itinto man. Man was created from God – God is man’s Source. If man walksaway from God, He is cut off from his Source and will die!The purpose of this book is to help man find his way back to God and to berestored to his Source. May God give us His grace as we journey back intoHis Presence through the Door, Yeshua, and by His Blood alone, this hasbeen made possible!!HALLELUJAH!!4

In The Beginning “In the beginning” God has this plan to create something special out of chaosand goes on to make the Earthand Man.Man is unique, He is made inGod’s own Image, i.e. we carrythe unique identity of being aspirit man – but although weare of the same spirit, we aregiven freedom of choice – weeach make a choice as towhether we will serve God ornot. To enable man’s existence onearth to be blessed, God giveshim access to the Tree of Life.Gen. 2:9 “9 And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree thatis pleasant to the sight or to be desired—good (suitable, pleasant) for food;the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledgeof [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity.”The Tree of Life is a permanent part of God’s plan for man.Rev. 2:7 “7 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and give heed to what theSpirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (is victorious), Iwill grant to eat [of the fruit] of the tree oflife, which is in the paradise of God.”When Adam and Eve sin by disobeyingGod’s commandments – they are exiledfrom the Garden of Eden and from thebenefits of the Tree of Life.God’s plan for man to reconcile with Himis:- a life of faith by choice- a life of faith by obedience- the application of the blood of a sacrificial lamb.Man lives in a physical world. His ability to communicate, understand andhave intimacy with God has been significantly reduced / changed, from dailyintimacy face to face to – as Paul describes it – looking through a darkenedmirror. In order that Man has some means to determine the boundary of thecovenant, God gives us the Ten Commandments, the prophets and the Holy5

Spirit to set the physical boundary. In this way we can interpret where / when/ how the spiritual boundary is formed.THE TREE OF LIFE:It is essential that believers come to understand the nature of God and thefact that since the very beginning of time He has been waiting expectantly foreach one of us to “return” to Him.God’s nature and desire is that when we choose to follow Him, that thiscovenant should be the foundation of our lives – in this way we will standwhen the storms of life and the words of deceit from foreign gods are spokenall around us.a) God’s Covenantal Boundary for His people:The physical boundaries that define my lifestyle as a free-will offering ofsacrifice to God will cause:- me to experience His blessing;- me to be protected at all time;- others to see and come to know God.I want to highlight the first 3 of the Ten Commandments – those that relate toWho God is and how we relate to Him.6

The other seven Commandments reflect my inter-personal reaction withinthe community of believers and other neighbours here on earth.Commandment No. 1:Ex. 20:2 “2 I am Yahweh, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, outof the house of bondage.”We accept here the proclamation that there in only One God.Commandment No. 2:We accept here the Commandment that we willhave no other interest that we will passionatelyfollow hard after God. Therefore anything whichcompetes with God for our time, energy, passionis an idol.Ex. 20:3-6 “3 You shall have no other gods before or besides Me.4 You shall not make yourself any graven image [to worship it] or any likenessof anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or thatis in the water under the earth;5 You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lordyour God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon thechildren to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me,6 But showing mercy and steadfast love to a thousand generations of thosewho love Me and keep My commandments.”Col. 3:5 “5 So kill (deaden, deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in yourmembers [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employedin sin]: sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greedand covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other createdthings instead of God).”1 Cor. 8:5-6 “5 For although there may be so-called gods, whether inheaven or on earth, as indeed there are many of them, both of gods and oflords and masters,6 Yet for us there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of allthings and for Whom we [have life], and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through andby Whom are all things and through and by Whom we [ourselves exist].”1 Cor. 5:11 “11 But now I write to you not to associate with anyone whobears the name of [Christian] brother if he is known to be guilty of immoralityor greed, or is an idolater [whose soul is devoted to any object that usurpsthe place of God], or is a person with a foul tongue [railing, abusing, reviling, slandering], or is a drunkard or a swindler or a robber. [No] you must not somuch as eat with such a person.”7

Eph. 5:5 “5 For be sure of this: that no person practicing sexual vice orimpurity in thought or in life, or one who is covetous [who has lustful desire forthe property of others and is greedy for gain]—for he [in effect] is anidolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.”Acts 17:16 “16 Now while Paul was awaiting them at Athens, his spirit wasgrieved and roused to anger as he saw that the city was full of idols.”Commandment No. 3:Ex. 20: 7 “7 You shall not use or repeat the name of the Lord your God invain [that is, lightly or frivolously, in false affirmations or profanely]; for theLord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.”We accept here the principle that my lifestyle/role-model will reflect thecharacter of God. This commandment to not use/say God’s Name lightlyencompasses far more than just the speaking of a name, but includes theprinciple that my value, integrity, relationships, etc, will positively reflect God’sImage.b) Virtue of the Tree of Life:The Tree of Life is planted in the Garden of Eden for Adam and Eve’s use andpleasure. It seems that you would continue to live forever while you ate ofthis fruit. As soon as Adam and Eve had eaten of the fruit of disobedience, God exilesthem from the Garden of Eden. In a way it seems that He protects them – ifthey had eaten of the tree of life again, they would have lived for eternity incondemnation.Gen. 3:22-24 “22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become likeone of Us [the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit], to know [how to distinguishbetween] good and evil and blessing and calamity; and now, lest he put forthhis hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever—23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till theground from which he was taken.24 So [God] drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden ofEden the cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep andguard the way to the tree of life.”When Yeshua is crucified and isresurrected, we find that the “tree”becomes the means for us to find away back to God, at that very momentwhen we are covered by the Blood ofthe Lamb on the Cross.8

2 Tim. 1:10 “10 [It is that purpose and grace] which He now has made knownand has fully disclosed and made real [to us] through the appearing of ourSavior Christ Jesus, Who annulled death and made it of no effect andbrought life and immortality (immunity from eternal death) to light through theGospel.”The believers that call on God’s Name and who are obedient to HisCommandments will see, touch and eat of this Tree of Life once again:Rev. 14:12 “12 Here [comes in a call for] the steadfastness of the saints [thepatience, the endurance of the people of God], those who [habitually] keepGod’s commandments and [their] faith in Jesus.”Rev. 22:1-2 “1 THEN HE showed me the river whose waters give life, sparkling like crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of the Lamb2 Through the middle of the broadway of the city; also, on either side of theriver was the tree of life with its twelve varieties of fruit, yielding each monthits fresh crop; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing and therestoration of the nations.”9

Consequences of our Disobedience to God’sCommandments:We will look at what constitutesdisobedience / rejection of God’sCommandments later on, suffice tosay God’s Word is clear – there areconsequences to the choices thatwe make.God’s treatment / judgment of Man isalways fair and consistent. He hasalso defined a process of restitutionfor us so that we can return to Himand be restored.God’s Word on Idolatry and His Promise:Hos. 2:7b-16 “7 Then shall she say, Let me go and return to my firsthusband, for then was it better with me than now.8 For she has not noticed, understood, or realized that it was I [the Lord God]Who gave her the grain and the new wine and the fresh oil, and Wholavished upon her silver and gold which they used for Baal and made intohis image.9 Therefore will I return and take back My grain in the time for it and My newwine in the season for it, and will pluck away and recover My wool and My flaxwhich were to cover her [Israel’s] nakedness.10 And now will I uncover her lewdness and her shame in the sight of herlovers, and no one shall rescue her out of My hand.11 I will also cause to cease all her mirth, her feastmaking, her New Moons, her Sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts and appointed festive assemblies.12 And I will lay waste and destroy her vines and her fig trees of which shehas said, These are my reward or loose woman’s hire that my lovers havegiven me; and I will make [her plantations] an inaccessible forest, and the wildbeasts of the open country shall eat them.13 And I will visit [punishment] upon her for the feast days of the Baals, whenshe burned incense to them and decked herself with her earrings and noserings and her jewelry and went after her lovers and forgot Me, says the Lord.14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her [Israel] and bring her into thewilderness, and I will speak tenderly and to her heart.15 There I will give her her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor [troubling]to be for her a door of hope and expectation. And she shall sing there andrespond as in the days of her youth and as at the time when she came up outof the land of Egypt.16 And it shall be in that day, says the Lord, that you will call Me Ishi [myHusband], and you shall no more call Me Baali [my Baal].”Restoration in relationship however does not mean that we will not suffer theconsequence of our choice.10

God’s pattern set out for us in the example of Adam and Eve is:CommandmentGen. 2:17 “17 But ofthe tree of theknowledge of good andevil and blessing andcalamity you shall noteat, for in the day thatyou eat of it you shallsurely die.”DisobedienceGen 3:6b “ she tookof its fruit and ate; andshe gave some also toher husband, and heate.”ConsequenceGen 3:23-24 “23Therefore the Lord Godsent him forth from theGarden of Eden to tillthe ground from whichhe was taken.24 So [God] drove outthe man; and He placedat the east of theGarden of Eden thecherubim and a flamingsword which turnedevery way, to keep andguard the way to thetree of life.”The Tree of Life – a Symbol of God’sKingdom:God emphatically uses the tree as metaphor for thekingdoms of the world. Under the prophet Ezekiel Hebrings forth a word of promise to King David that theMessianic Kingdom will arise:Ezek. 17:22 “22 Thus says the Lord God: I Myself will take atwig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out; I willcrop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender oneand will plant it upon a mountain high andexalted.”The highest branch stands for the restoration ofthe Kingdom of Israel and the Messiah who will rebuild David’s kingdom sothat this house will rule forever.Is. 9:6-7 “6 For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and thegovernment shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be calledWonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince ofPeace.7 Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, uponthe throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it withjustice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”Yeshua is the tender branch that is chopped off (crucified). This Kingdomgets established – i.e. the tree is planted on the highest mountain.11

Ezek. 17:23 “23 On the mountain height of Israel will I plant it, that it maybring forth boughs and bear fruit and be a noble cedar, and under it shalldwell all birds of every feather; in the shade of its branches they shall nestleand find rest.”This Tree (Yeshua) will become a Mighty Treethat brings forth good fruit and brings shelter tomany.Ezek. 17:24 “24 And all the trees of the fieldshall know (understand and realize) that I theLord have brought low the high tree, haveexalted the low tree, have dried up the greentree, and have made the dry tree flourish. Ithe Lord have spoken, and I will do it.”God brings down the high trees of this world, the kingdoms of Israel, but makes a promisethat it (Israel) will flourish again.Dan. 4 “1 NEBUCHADNEZZAR THE king, to all people, nations, andlanguages that dwell on all the earth: May peace be multiplied to you!2 It seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most HighGod has performed toward me.10 The visions of my head [as I lay] on my bed were these: I saw, and behold,[there was] a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height was great.11 The tree grew and was strong and its height reached to the heavens, andthe sight of it reached to the end of the whole earth.12 Its leaves were fair and its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all. Theliving creatures of the field found shade under it, and the birds of the sky dweltin its branches; and all flesh was fed from it.13 I saw in the visions of my head [as I lay] on my bed, and behold, awatcher, a holy one, came down from heaven.14 He cried aloud [with might] and said, Cut down the tree and cut off itsbranches; shake off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the living creatures fleefrom under it and the fowls from its branches.15 Nevertheless leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band ofiron and bronze, in the midst of the tender grass of the field. Let him be wetwith the dew of the heavens, and let him share the lot of the living creatures inthe grass of the earth 20 The tree that you saw, which grew [great] and was strong, whose heightreached to the heavens and which was visible to all the earth, 22 It is you, O king, who have grown and become strong; your greatnesshas increased and it reaches to the heavens, and your dominion to the endsof the earth 12

27 let my counsel be acceptable to you; break off your sins and show thereality of your repentance by righteousness (right standing with God andmoral and spiritual rectitude and rightness in every area and relation) andliberate yourself from your iniquities by showing mercy and loving-kindness tothe poor and oppressed Luke 1:52 “52 He has put down the mighty from their thrones and exaltedthose of low degree.”The green tree represents the present kingdom of the world (at that stageBabylon). God promises to give the worldly Kingdom of David back its gloryas a representative of the most High God and causes the dry tree to flourishat the same time it gives us a glimpse of the end-time revelation period whenGod’s Kingdom on earth is restored. The Tree of Life in a Nutshell – my lifestyle ofdoing God’s Will:The prophet Ezekiel comforts King David with words ofpromise that the Messiah will come from his lineage andthat the Kingdom of God will be established forever.Once again God declares that all men are equal:Ezek. 18:3-4 “3 As I live, says the Lord God, you shall nothave occasion any more to use this proverb inIsrael.4 Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of thefather, so also the soul of the son is Mine ”- all men who sin shall pay the consequence, i.e. die:Ezek. 18:4b “4 the soul that sins, it shall die.”- the deeds of a righteous (believing) man are:1) He will be just:Ezek. 18: 5, 9 “5 But if a man is [uncompromisingly] righteous (upright and inright standing with God) and does what is lawful and right,9 Who has walked in My statutes and kept My ordinances, to deal justly;[then] he is [truly] righteous; he shall surely live, says the Lord God.”13

2) He does that which is lawful and right.Ezek. 18: 5, 9 “5 But if a man is [uncompromisingly] righteous (uprightand in right standing with God) and does what is lawful and right,3) He has not been involved in idol worship.Ezek. 18:6a “6 And has not eaten [at the idol shrines] upon the mountainsnor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel ”The Tree of Life in a Nutshell – Knowing andConforming to God’s Will for Your Life:The Torah is clear that we should search out andestablish what God wants us each to be and do and thengo forth and do this in loving obedience.John 4:34 “34 Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) isto do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and toaccomplish and completely finish His work.”John 17:3 “3 And this is eternal life: [it means] toknow (to perceive, recognize, becomeacquainted with, and understand) You, the onlytrue and real God, and [likewise] to know Him,Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah),Whom You have sent.”1 John 5:13 “13 I write this to you who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and relyon) the name of the Son of God [in the peculiar services and blessingsconferred by Him on men], so that you may know [with settled and absoluteknowledge] that you [already] have life, yes, eternal life.”2 Pet. 1:1-8 “1 SIMON PETER, a servant and apostle (special messenger) ofJesus Christ, to those who have received (obtained an equal privilege of) likeprecious faith with ourselves in and through the righteousness of our God andSavior Jesus Christ 5 For this very reason, adding your diligence [to the divine promises],employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence, resolution, Christian energy), and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge(intelligence),6 And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control, and in[exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience, endurance),and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety),7 And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection, and in[exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love.14

8 For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you, they willkeep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [full personal] knowledge ofour Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”The Tree of Life in a Nutshell – Obedience toGod’s commands will give us long life.As we walk in God’s path for our lives, we will start toexercise the attributes of a servant of Yeshua and obtainthe reward.Ps. 34:12 “12 What man is he who desires life and longs formany days, that he may see good?”1) He has not been involved in adultery and othersexual impurity:Ezek. 18:6b “6 And has not eaten [at the idolshrines] upon the mountains nor lifted up his eyesto the idols of the house of Israel, has not defiled his neighbor’s wife norcome near to a woman in her time of impurity,”2) He has not oppressed any man / caused the people of slavery to beapposed.Ezek 18: 7-8 “7 And has not wronged anyone but has restored to the debtorhis pledge, has taken nothing by robbery but has given his bread to thehungry and has covered the naked with a garment,8 Who does not charge interest or percentage of increase on what he lends[in compassion], who withholds his hand from iniquity, who executes truejustice between man and man,”3) He has done good deeds (mitzvahs):Ezek. 18: 7 “7 And has not wronged anyone but has restored to the debtorhis pledge, has taken nothing by robbery but has given his bread to thehungry and has covered the naked with a garment,”4) He has kept God’s Commandments fully.Ezek. 18:9 “9 Who has walked in My statutes and kept My ordinances, todeal justly; [then] he is [truly] righteous; he shall surely live, says the LordGod.”15

These principles are confirmed in:Gal. 3:8 “8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify (declarerighteous, put in right standing with Himself) the Gentiles in consequence offaith, proclaimed the Gospel [foretelling the glad tidings of a Savior longbeforehand] to Abraham in the promise, saying, In you shall all the nations [ofthe earth] be blessed.”Heb. 4:2 “2 For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God]proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the goodnews of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message theyheard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with theleaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence inHis power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; neither were theyunited in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).”More importantly we understand that it is only when we are:a) a son of God;b) covered by the Blood of Yeshua;c) empowered by the Holy Spirit;that we can achieve this degree of “Tree of Life” status:2 Cor. 3:3 “3 You show and make obvious that you are aletter from Christ delivered by us, not written with ink butwith [the] Spirit of [the] living God, not on tablets of stonebut on tablets of human hearts.”God expects man to teach His children in the ways of God:Prov. 6: 20-23 “20 My son, keep your father’s [Godgiven] commandment and forsake not the law of [God] your mother[taught you].21 Bind them continually upon your heart and tie them about your neck.22 When you go, they [the words of your parents’ God] shall lead you; whenyou sleep, they shall keep you; and when you waken, they shall talk with you.23 For the commandment is a lamp, and the whole teaching [of the law] islight, and reproofs of discipline are the way of life,”16

The Tree of Life in a Nutshell – The Four-foldfruit.Prov. 3:1-35 “1 MY SON, forget not my law or teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments;2 For length of days and years of a life [worth living] andtranquility [inward and outward and continuing through old agetill death], these shall they add to you.5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all yourheart and mind and do not rely on your own insight orunderstanding.6 In all your ways know, recognize, andacknowledge Him, and He will direct and makestraight and plain your paths 13 Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the manwho finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man whogets understanding [drawing it forth from God’s Word and life’s experiences],14 For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, and the profit of itbetter than fine gold.15 Skillful and godly Wisdom is more precious than rubies; and nothing youcan wish for is to be compared to her.16 Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand are riches andhonor.17 Her ways are highways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.18 She is a tree of life to those who lay hold on her; and happy (blessed, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who holds her fast.19 The Lord by skillful and godly Wisdom has founded the earth; byunderstanding He has established the heavens.20 By His knowledge the deeps were broken up, and the skies distill the dew.21 My son, let them not escape from your sight, but keep sound and godlyWisdom and discretion,22 And they will be life to your inner self, and a gracious ornament to yourneck (your outer self ).23 Then you will walk in your way securely and in confident trust, and youshall not dash your foot or stumble.24 When you lie down, you shall not be afraid; yes, you shall lie down, andyour sleep shall be sweet ”1) The Fruit of RighteousnessProv. 11:30 “30 The fruit of the [uncompromisingly] righteous is a tree oflife, and he who is wise captures human lives [for God, as a fisher of men—he gathers and receives them for eternity].”17

Is. 61:3 “3 To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to givethem an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oilof joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of aheavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks ofrighteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may beglorified.”The seed of life in this fruit is:o Path of life:Ps. 16:11 “11 You will show me the path oflife; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Yourright hand there are pleasures forevermore.”Prov. 5:6 “6 She loses sight of and walks not inthe path of life; her ways wind about aimlessly, and you cannot knowthem.”o Spirit of life:Rom. 8:2 “2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus[the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and ofdeath.”o Ways of life:Acts 2:28 “28 You have made known to me the ways of life; You willenrapture me [diffusing my soul with joy] with and in Your presence.”Prov. 10:17 “17 He who heeds instruction and correction is [not onlyhimself] in the way of life [but also] is a way of life for others.”Prov. 15:24 “24 The path of the wise leads upward to life, that hemay avoid [the gloom] in the depths of Sheol (Hades, the place of thedead).”2) The fruit of Hope fulfilled:Prov. 13:12 “12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire isfulfilled, it is a tree of life.”18

The seed of life in this fruit is:o Justified:Titus 3:7 “7 [And He did it in order] that we might be justified by Hisgrace (by His favor, wholly undeserved), [that we might beacknowledged and counted as conformed to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action], and that we might become heirs of eternal lifeaccording to [our] hope.”o Promise of Life:2 Tim. 1:1 “1 PAUL, AN apostle (special messenger) of Christ Jesusby the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in ChristJesus,”o Bread:John 6:35 “35 Jesus replied, I am theBread of Life. He who comes to Me willnever be hungry, and he who believes inand cleaves to and trusts in and relies onMe will never thirst any more (at any time).”3) The fruit of Wholesome tongueProv. 15:4 “4 A gentle tongue [with its healingpower] is a tree of life, but willful contrariness in itbreaks down the spirit.”The seed of life in this fruit is:o Grace1 Pet. 3:7 “7 In the same way you married men should liveconsiderately with [your wives], with an intelligent recognition [of themarriage relation], honoring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but[realizing that you] are joint heirs of the grace (God’s unmeritedfavor) of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cutoff. [Otherwise you cannot pray effectively.]”o Fragrance2 Cor. 2:15-16 “15 For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [whichexhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are beingsaved and among those who are perishing:16 To the latter it is an aroma [wafted] from death to death [a fatal odor, the smell of doom]; to the former it is an aroma from life to life [a vitalfragrance, living and fresh].”19
