PMPs are found leading projects in nearly every country, across industries,domains and job roles and are committed to providing the highest quality in delivery.Who is it for?ExaminationPMP is suitable for any experienced projectmanager responsible for all aspects of projectdelivery, leading and directing cross-functionalteams; regardless of the industry.In order to receive the PMP certification,candidates must complete 35 contact hours inclassroom teaching and pass the exam at one ofPMI’s exam centers. and pay a fee of USD 400(may vary based on location). The four hour examconsists of 200 multiple choice questions.Eligibility criteriaIn order to qualify for the PMP examinationcandidates should meet the following eligibilitycriteria: Secondary degree (high school diploma,associate’s degree or the global equivalent) 7,500 hours leading and directing projects 35 hours of project management educationOR Four-year degree 4,500 hours leading and directing projects 35 hours of project management educationNot a university diploma. It is an extension of the Certificateprogramme.2 4 PwC’s AcademyMembershipThere is a membership fee of USD 139. Uponsuccessful completion of the programme,candidates will be eligible to apply for Membershipand use the designation PMP next to their name(subject to having relevant work experience).To maintain the PMP designation, candidates mustearn 60 professional development units (PDUs)every three years.
