Sometimes students want or demand special treatment. Iunderstand that some students do not care how others in the class are treated, but it is very important to methat all students are treated fairly and each student has the same opportunities. Therefore, dates andexpectations are for the entire class and not changed on an individual basis. If an individual emergency orextenuating cirmcumstance arises, I will work with an individual student to make sure it stays within thestandards and expectations of the class and is fair to others as well. There is no extra credit and there will be no incompletes. It is very rare that an incomplete is an option, thestudent must have adequate documentation from a medical professional, the U.S. military or the appropriatelegal entity. Additionally, the timeframe for the incomplete is typically one month after the class ends, and thehighest grade that a student can earn in the class is a C.3
