More than 15 years of the BIO-surfaceTHE BIONIQ DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEMThe BioniQ implant system includes tapered implants offering easy insertion andhigh primary stability in soft bone as well as straight implants for easy positioningin dense bone. The system comprises BioniQ implants inserted at the level of thebone and BioniQ Plus implants allowing insertion at the level of soft tissues. PackagingMarking and packaging of the productsThe implants are supplied in two blisters and an outer paper box. The transparent blister allows the visual checking of the product beforeits use. There is a label on the back of the blister with implant information and labels which should be fixed onto the patient documentation.The paper box has a label, too, (see the picture below).The instruments and prosthetic components are supplied decontaminated but not sterile. BioniQ implants are availablein conical Tapered and cylindrical Straight versions. The hydrophilic and bioactive surface of theimplant speeds up the healing process and enables the formation of a strong bond between thebone and the implant surface.BioniQ S2.9BioniQ S2.9 narrow implants offer the optimal solutionin situations where treatment using conventionalimplants is difficult or even impossible. They are mostfrequently used in the frontal area with insufficient bonetissue available or with a small gap between teeth orimplants. S2.9 implants are manufactured from grade4 high-strength pure titanium and are treated – as areall BioniQ implants – with a hydrophilic nanostructuredBIO-surface.BioniQ PLUSThe BioniQ Plus implant is a one-stage implant, primarily, intended to be inserted into the distalarea. It is also advantageous for use in areas with a narrow alveolus without the necessity ofbone augmentation and in areas with a relative lack of vertical bone dimension. The BioniQPlus implant has a machined collar with a height of 1.7 mm. It is fully compatible with all theinstruments and prosthetic components of the QR and QN platforms of the BioniQ implantsystem.
