Site:Normandale Community College is offering its dental facilities to candidates for the 2021 CDCA/ADEX dentalhygiene manikin examination, which will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Please read the followinginformation carefully.Parking:Free parking is available in all Normandale parking lots. It is suggested that you park in the south lots #1or #2,which can be accessed off of 98th St. at the front of the college. Enter the building at the College Services Centermain ground level entrance. (See location on the enclosed map)Building Hours:The building will open @ 7:00 am on Thursday, May 13th.Entering the Building/Covid-19 Screening: Must wear a face mask in the building at all times Check in at the front desk with the campus security officers Have a valid ID to show to at the desk Complete the Covid-19 Self-Assessment prior to your arrival on campus and be able to show the greenscreen on your phone upon entry. (See below)There are two ways to complete the Covid-19 Self-Assessment: Normandale Alert App (see below) If you cannot fill out the self-assessment prior to your arrival, you can use iPads at the front desk, howeveryou may have to wait for an available iPad.Directions for downloading the phone Normandale Alert app: Go to your smart phone's app store, search for "Normandale Alert," and download the app. You'll haveinstant access to the self-assessment. The COVID-19 Self-Assessment can be found directly below “COVID Resources.” Simply click on“COVID-19 Self-Assessment” and complete the assessment. You will also need to sign out of the building when you leave.Finding the Dental Clinic: Jodsaas Science Center, 2 nd floor, S2410 – Signs will be posted!To Elevator – turn right into small hallway just past campus security front deskTake elevator to the 2nd floor - turn left when exiting elevator, then go to your right into hallwayFollow hallway to courtyard double doors and turn leftFollow hall to 2nd hallway on right (Fiscal Services is on the left) – Turn rightContinue down hallway you will see the dental clinic at the end of the hall.You will be required to have your temperature taken prior to entry into the dental clinic.(For a more detailed campus building map, d-directions)Supplies and Equipment:Normandale Community College is a latex safe environment and will provide the following equipment: Over garments Utility gloves for disinfection purposes Nitrile exam gloves (XS, S, M, L, XL) Ear loop face masks Surface disinfectant and barriers Saliva ejectors / HVE disposable tips Air/water syringe tips1

Eachcandidate is responsible for providing protective eye-wear with side shields and face shield. Overgarments, glovesand masks will be provided as part of the basic site fee.Please Note: Cubicle surfaces and operatory equipment must be cleaned and disinfected with the supplieddisinfectant when the exam is completed. Protective barriers must be used in all cubicles and will be provided foryour use. All instruments and handpieces must be sterile, please bring them to the examination in appropriatepackaging.
