For contracts, the SRF Need by date should be a minimum of 8weeks from the date you enter your request.8. Click Submit to finish.Prior to the implementation of the Sourcing Request Form (SRF) systemthe Sourcing organization received requests from business clients via manydifferent manual methods including telephone calls, email messages,Instant Messages (IM), web portal for limited groups and from casual notesand contacts. Such methods did not promote an effective means to trackrequest statuses efficiently or promote organizational consistently.The SRF system was created as a centralized online collection tool that isaccessible by all Verizon employees to submit and review Sourcingrequests. The Sourcing Request Form (SRF) is intended to improveefficiencies through automation of new matter intake process. It is toestablish more meaningful metrics based on client requested date whilecreating broader reporting capabilities. It will also allow for client visibility formajor contract milestones.The Wireless Network Services Team will send the Requestor (Sponsor) aquick start link (option 1) to access the SRF form and the necessarydocuments for the SRF Form.
