Telephone: 1-202-336-6780.Notice to students and prospective students: Education Management Corporation campuses have been placed onprobation by their accreditor, the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (“ACICS”), based onfinancial stability standards.New Grant OfferingThe following program is an addition to the Grant Offerings listed on page 142 of the current catalog.The Art Institutes Teach Out Transfer Grant – IIEffective October 31, 2016, in an effort to help students attending The Art Institute of Atlanta – Decatur;The Art Institute of California – Los Angeles, a campus of Argosy University; The Art Institute ofCalifornia – Silicon Valley, a campus of Argosy University; The Art Institute of Fort Worth, a campus ofSouth University; The Art Institute of Houston – North; The Art Institute of Jacksonville, a branch ofMiami International University of Art & Design; The Art Institute of Michigan – Troy; The Art Institute ofOhio – Cincinnati; The Art Institute of Washington –Dulles, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta; TheIllinois Institute of Art – Tinley Park; or The New England Institute of Art, which are currently in teachout, complete their educational program, the institution wishes to support students with options thatwill further their educational goals.As class sizes become smaller at the Art Institutes locations in teach out, The Art Institutes realize thatclassroom and group learning interaction may be affected. Therefore, we are providing our studentswith the opportunity to transfer to certain Art Institutes locations which are currently enrolling studentsor to transfer to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division. This grant is designed to offset theburden of cost of credits that may not transfer for students who elect to transfer to another campus oronline, as well as to offset the potential burden of attending a different location or learning via adifferent modality.Any student who transfers from an eligible Art Institutes location currently in teach out to an ArtInstitutes location currently enrolling students (with the exception of The Art Institute of Vancouver), orto The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division, will be eligible to receive either one (1) or two (2)one-time grants of 5,000 per the terms established below.To be eligible for this transfer grant, students must transfer from The Art Institute of Atlanta – Decatur;The Art Institute of California – Los Angeles, a campus of Argosy University; The Art Institute ofCalifornia – Silicon Valley, a campus of Argosy University; The Art Institute of Fort Worth, a campus ofSouth University; The Art Institute of Houston – North; The Art Institute of Jacksonville, a branch ofMiami International University of Art & Design; The Art Institute of Michigan – Troy; The Art Institute of2350 Corporate Circle, Henderson, NV 89074Addendum Publication Date: 1/25/17Page 7 of 9

Students must be enrolled, confirmed, and actively attendingcampus or online by January 16, 2017.Eligible students who transfer by January 16, 2017, with a scheduled and actual graduation date prior toDecember 31, 2017, will receive a one-time grant of 5,000. Eligible students will receive thedisbursement of this grant after successfully earning 12 academic credits at the new Art Instituteslocation or The Art Institute of Pittsburgh-Online Division. Recipients must be in good academicstanding as defined by the Satisfactory Academic Progress policy, and be actively attending.Eligible students who transfer by January 16, 2017, with a scheduled and actual graduation date afterDecember 31, 2017, will receive two (2) one-time grants of 5,000 each ( 10,000 total). Eligible studentswill receive the disbursement of the first grant after successfully earning 12 academic credits at the newArt Institutes location or at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh-Online Division. Recipients must be in goodacademic standing as defined by the Satisfactory Academic Progress policy, and be enrolled andconfirmed in the subsequent quarter. Eligible students will receive the disbursement of the second grantafter completing a total of four (4) quarters of continuous enrollment at the new Art Institutes locationor at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh-Online Division, earning at least 36 academic credits at the new ArtInstitutes location or The Art Institute of Pittsburgh-Online Division, and maintaining a minimum halftime load each quarter.
