ILLUSTRATIVE PROJECTSMAXIMIZING TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTSSkills Assessments and Quizzes Softek developed, and currently conducts,a series of custom training classes for theWorld Bank that use and reference theirspecific files. For example, a series ofclasses were developed for mastering MSExcel using World Bank-specific files. Once a class is completed, users areassessed on their knowledge and skills toreceive credit. Questions can be: Multiple Choice,True/False, Fill in the blanks, ShortAnswers, Matching, Hot Spots, andSequences. In addition to seeing scores on the screen, this assessment automatically sends resultsto a designated group of people, withoutuser intervention. It was important that results were sentprogrammatically, through the system, without users having the ability to controlwhether results were sent. For example, management did not want users taking theassessment, failing and not sharing resultswith supervisors.SOFTEK SERVICES, INC. 1156 15TH STREET, NW, SUITE 100, WASHINGTON, DC 20005 202-747-5000 WWW.SOFTEKDC.COM
