Ournetwork was designed to provide you with ample access to the internet with speeds starting at 300 Mbps, enabling you to workand learn without data caps or throttling.Establishing New ServiceAs our community adjusts to using connectivity for at-home work and education, we will continue to provide installationupon request, following CDC-recommended guidelines.Whenever possible, we will offer self-guided installation for new customers. Customers are eligible for this option if EPBFiber Optics services were previously installed at the home. In these instances, we will leave a router at your door and walkyou through setup over the phone.If an in-home installation is necessary, we will take the following precautions:An EPB customer service representative will call the day before confirming the appointment. We will ask if anyone inthe home has had exposure to COVID-19, has demonstrated any flu-like symptoms or has traveled outside the UnitedStates in the past 14 days.The EPB installation technician will also call the day of installation and ask the same questions.Upon arrival at your home, installers will maintain a 6-foot social distance from anyone in the home.All technicians carry hand sanitizer and are instructed to wash their hands thoroughly before, during, and after eachvisit.EPB equipment, like routers and set top boxes, are delivered in airtight bags.EPB technicians always wear new boot covers upon entering the home.Service Call AppointmentsEPB will make every effort to troubleshoot service issues over the phone.If you are an EPB Smart Network customer, we have the added ability to access your router and troubleshoot remotely.https://epb.com/covid193/6
