Our structured approach is strongly based upon the 12 steps of AAand is designed to help our clients develop the skills necessary to achieve long term success.Admissions – We understand the initial phonecall may be difficult to make. Our AdmissionsTeam is devoted to ensuring a seamlessadmissions process. This includes a confidentialpre-admission assessment to collect all requiredmedical and clinical information. If the situationwarrants, we will make an appropriate referral foran interventionist. We will personally answer yourquestions regarding transportation information,financial arrangements, and assisting withinsurance verifications. Our team will guide youevery step of the way.Detoxification – Detox is the first step towardachieving long term sobriety. Our DetoxificationUnit is medically staffed 24 hours a day withASAM certified physicians and registered nurses.This phase of treatment includes a thoroughassessment to ensure the individual safelyovercomes the physical effects of alcohol anddrug withdrawal. During detoxification we have theopportunity to address any medical concerns andto begin the process of developing a personalizedtherapeutic relationship.
Primary TreatmentOur abstinence-based treatment model is dedicated toproviding a comprehensive array of services. Upon admissionwe refer to clients as students since they will be learningto live new and sober lives. Time is often the critical factorfor successful rehabilitation and the length of stay is basedupon individual progress in treatment. Our highly structured,long term model was developed to treat chronic relapsers. It takestime to heal the brain functions and nervous system, develop newcoping skills, practice new life skills, heal family relationships and tounderstand the 12 step program.We develop individualized treatment plans encompassing dualdiagnosis analysis. Time away from substance abuse has a way ofseparating out what is a psychiatric issue and what is a behavioralconcern. Each individual will have a dedicated counselor for oneon-one therapy and be evaluated for specific group therapies. Ourstaff is the heart and soul of our organization and has over 500years of collective sobriety. It is comprised of highly competent andexperienced professionals including: Licensed & certified addiction counselors 24 hour Medical/Nursing Department Nutritionist Addiction Psychiatrist Psychologist Family Therapist Trauma SpecialistsOur multi-disciplinary team provides counseling for eating disorders,trauma, anger, gambling and more. We recognize that ProcessAddictions are the number one cause attributed to relapse and weaddress them during primary treatment.Alina Lodge puts an emphasis on healing the “whole” person.Spirituality, exercise and healthy nutrition are all important aspectsof our programs. Ourresidential Family Program was one of the firstestablished in the United States. Families are invitedto participate in our Sunday family education daysthroughout their student’s stay. Family members willbe offered a residential program that is specificallydesigned for their family’s needs to help ensurea student’s successful transition and long termrecovery. This program has a comprehensiveapproach with individual treatment plans for eachfamily. We encourage family members to learn moreabout addiction. We work with families to identifyfamily dynamics and patterns that have been painfuland destructive, and look for new ways to reconnect,heal and move forward. Our Family Program initiatesrelationship repair by opening communication andfostering independence and accountability for one’sown recovery.
Upon DischargeThe fact is long term recovery takescommitment and support.Alina Lodge recognizes this transition can bedifficult. Just because an individual has beendischarged does not mean our job is done. Weprovide individualized aftercare plans that includeappropriate referrals. Our staff is always availableoffering a lifetime of support.AlumniOur alumni and family relationships continue longafter individuals have completed our program. OurAlumni Coordinator organizes events to keep alumniconnected. We maintain contact on a regular basisdepending on their level of recovery. We encourageour graduates to return to celebrate anniversariesand share their wisdom with our current students.Alumni play an integral role in our continuedsuccess and remain our number one referral source.Alumni are the greatest resource of“hope” for the current residents.
