The students got theopportunity to try out the following hands - on activities: Torch cutting steel plate, polyfusingplastic pipes, soldering copper fitting and threading some black iron. In Sympathy Grant Ehret died Sunday, February 23, 2020. He wasa the oldest living member of Local 101. He had beena member since July 1950. Grant was owner of EhretInc. and served as Trustee on many Boards for theLocal.CONGRATULATIONS:The following members each received their 25 years of Service Awards. All to often members fall intodues delinquency, and incur additional costs uponthemselves, not because of long term financialdifficulties, but simply through poor recordkeeping.But whatever the reason, falling behind onyour monthly dues is bad news; and members haveto follow the rules of the United Association toreturn to good standing. Any member who fallsmore than three months behind in dues paymentautomatically becomes delinquent. NO notificationis required. Delinquent members are not entitledto any Union right, privileges or monetary benefits.(See UA Constitution Booklet, page 103, Sec. 157)A delinquent member returns to goodstanding by paying all back dues through thecurrent month ( 144), PLUS a 50 reinstatementfee.
