The cost has been estimated at 700,000.00with final figure to be available upon final road design andconstruction costs.Commissioner Limmer advised Williamson County will have no responsibilityfor construction of road, all manpower, labor or equipment. The City ofTaylor will also accept responsibility for the east end of the stub ofCounty Road 398 - approximately 300 feet. :INTBRGOVERNHENTALAGRBBKBNTThis Intergovernmental Agreement("Agreement" ) is made andentered into by and between the City of Taylor, a home rule cityand a political subdivision of the State of Texas("City") andWilliamson County, Texas ("County") .RECITALSWHEREAS, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of theTexas GovernmentCodeauthorizesunitsof local governmenttocontract with one or more units of local government to performgovernment functions and services; andWHEREAS,the City has a 'municipal airport whichfurnishesaviation transportation services for general aviation aircraft ineastern Williamson County, Texas ("Airport"); ervices for general aviation aircraft located in Williamson inessincentives to aviation related businesses for relocation to theAirport; by purchase of additional real property necessary for therunway extension; by construction of additional aircraft hangarsand tie-down spaces for aircraft; by construction of a 24-hour viationaircraft in Williamson County, Texas; andWHEREAS, the City paid approximately 1,044,723.00, for theAirport expansion recited above and w ll pay additional costs to179
