Show Your iPad Some Love:Follow these simple steps to protect youriPad and optimize its capabilities

A Few Main PointsThe iPad was given to you to be used as a learning tool. That means that youmust: Bring it to school everyday! Follow iPad rules per teacher discretion. Not following the rules may cause you to lose iPad privileges or use Utilize the apps for note taking, inquiry, and studying Keep off social media websites that will distract you from yourclasses Remember, the device is owned by the WAWM School District. Alldistrict and school policies must be followed when using the deviceor disciplinary actions may take place.

Caring your Device Charge your iPad when it’s below 50% Always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep your iPad in its case!!! If seen without it in its case 3 times over the course of the year, it will nolonger go home with you. Do NOT put it in between books in your backpack Keep your iPad away from all liquids and foods Keep your iPad on a stable surface to reduce the risk offalling Keep your iPad out of the heat or extreme cold

Security Your passcode must be your lunch number If it is found that it isn’t at some point, you willlose iPad privileges Do not share your iTunes Apple id or any otherusernames/passwords with friends or loved ones

Device Fees If Broken, Lost, or Stolen 40Lost iPad Charger 601st time cracked/damaged and repaired by district 902nd time cracked/damaged and repaired by district 139Any additional crack/damage 175iPad is lost/stolen (Students or parents will need to provide a policereport for documentation 379Additional instance if iPad is lost or stolen (Students or parents willneed to provide a police report for documentation***Fees MUST be paid in order to take your iPad home

iPads Throughout the Day iPads will not go to Specials until September 21 iPads NEVER go to Gym Store your iPad in your locker when at a special--the topshelf works really well for this iPads will be returned to your 1st hour (or 2nd hour teacherSouth Team) teacher at the end of the day They will charge them for you

Downloading Apps MUST have teacher permission to download an app Parent permission necessary to download any apps at home If you misuse your iPad during the school day: Your app store could be removed from your iPad You could get Safari restrictions You could lose your Camera

iPads Going Home iPads will go home on Friday, September 18 Only if You have a case that covers the screen and corners Can buy a sleeve case in the office for 6 Any outstanding fees are paid If you have a charger at home you want to use instead of theschool one, you may do that. Just let Ms. Kaestner knowwhen you check out your iPad!
