COMMENCEMENT SPEAKERDeborah Trautman, PhD, RN, FAAN, is the presidentand chief executive officer of the AmericanAssociation of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).Formerly the executive director of the Centerfor Health Policy and Healthcare Transformationat Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Trautman has heldclinical and administrative leadership positions atthe University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and theJohns Hopkins Medical Institutions. She also servedas the vice president of patient care services forHoward County General Hospital and as directorof Nursing for Emergency Medicine at the JohnsHopkins Hospital.
