AccuGrade Site Reference SystemAdvanced technology simplifies excavation, improves accuracy, increases efficiencyand lowers production costs.AccuGrade Site Reference Operation.The AccuGrade Site Reference Systemenables the operator to excavate to predetermined coordinates. The intuitivelayout and controls allow the operatorto set target grades relative to points onthe work-site. The in-cab display providesbucket position and grade settings toensure the operator excavates to thoseparameters. Additional feedback isprovided through LED lights and sound.The basic system consists of fivecomponents: Inclinometer (pitch and roll sensor) Cylinder position sensors (boom,bucket, stick/e-stick) In-cab display Swing sensor Wiring harnessesThe AccuGrade Site Reference Systemis fully functional from the factory andis easily upgraded to the optionalAccuGrade Laser Reference System.In-Cab Display. The AccuGrade monitorallows the operator to enter slope and digdepth parameters while providing realtime, continuous feedback.The in-cab display with easy to readgrade indicator and elevation displaydelivers all system information to thecab for easy viewing by the operator.The display shows all ECM diagnosticdata for the machine. AccuGrade Laser Reference SystemThe AccuGrade Laser Reference System builds on the functionality of the Site Reference System.AccuGrade Laser Reference Operation.The optional AccuGrade Laser ReferenceSystem, which is easily upgraded fromthe AccuGrade Site Reference System,works with laser transmitters to accuratelygrade or excavate to a site plan withoutthe use of grade stakes. The advancedsystem includes all components of thebasic system with the addition of thefollowing: Laser receiver Electric mast Laser mast mount Laser wiring harnesses4Laser Transmitter. An off-board lasertransmitter (sold separately) emits a thinbeam of light that rotates 360 , creatinga grade reference over the entire workarea. The transmitter is mounted on atripod so the laser beam can rotateunobstructed above the backhoe loader.A rotating dual grade laser transmitterfor use in long range applications forgeneral construction or machine controlis recommended.Laser Receiver. A digital laser receiver,located on a machine-mounted telescopicmast, is used to detect the laser beam.During grade set-up, the electronic mastautomatically centers the laser receiverin the laser beam. The operator is alertedthrough the in-cab display as the bucketmoves above or below finish gradeelevation.Electric Mast. An electronic adjustablemachine-mounted telescopic mast is usedfor mounting the laser receiver, ensuringunobstructed laser reception. Powered byan electric motor, the mast automaticallyadjusts for precise positioning of thereceiver’s elevation.
