OverviewWho Should AttendThis conference is designed to educate physicians and residents in thefield of Neurology as well as residents, nurse practitioners, midwives andphysicians in the field of Obstetrics on issues where the fields of Neurologyand Obstetrics intersect.This course is designed for physicians and residents in the fields of Neurology,Obstetrics and Family Practice as well as midwives and nurse practitionerswhose practice includes care for pregnant women.Learning ObjectivesThe one-day-long course will feature speakers from multiple disciplinesincluding Neurology, Obstetrics, Anesthesia, Neurosurgery and Ethics.Subjects covered include Preeclampsia/Eclampsia, Headache Management,Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis, Postpartum Neuropathy,Stroke, Sleep disorders, Neurosurgical Issues in Pregnancy, Complicationsof Obstetrical Anesthesia, Labor Pain Management, and Ethical Issues inNeurology in Pregnancy. Neurologists may earn self-assessment CME bycompleting an exam after the course.
