hanks for your interest in BrookvilleTproducts. The beginnings forBrookville Roadster were laid over fortyyears ago much like the start of otherstreet rodding businesses. Ray Gollahonwas just trying to support his own carhobby and make some sheet metal partsneeded to restore his own car. As a career metal worker and an avid Model Aand ‘32 enthusiast it was a natural start. The first year, at a 1972 swap meetevent he and his wife Donna sold out allof their patch panels and componentsthe first day. After working many nightsand weekends in their own garage, thesuccess of the metal parts led to the creation of Antique Auto Sheet Metal, Inc.For the next two decades that companyproduced literally thousands of muchneeded replacement parts and bodypanels for both the collector car marketand street rodders too.2Special thanks for cars and photos to: The Rodder’s Journal, Street Rodder Magazine, Roy Brizio Street Rods, Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop, Hot Rods by Dean, Bruce’s RodShop, SoCal Speed Shop and Mike Chase Photography.937.833.4605www.BrookvilleRoadster.com

The Real Steel StoryThe Brookville Team Of Real American SteelWorkers, Fabricators And Office StaffIt is a testament to the quality of theproducts and the foresight of the founders thatafter forty years not one part number or product produced has ever been discontinued. The goal all along has been to maintain control over every possible step in the manufacturing process. Steady investments inthe kind of machinery, technology and skilledcraftsmen required to produce these components has resulted in unmatched manufacturing capabilities and award winningproduct quality. Our own reproduction 1932 Ford Three Window door latch you can see on the next pageis an excellent example of just how far we cango to produce the most accurate componentsfor our customers. Virtually every part of thiscomplicated yet reliable latch system must bemade by our crew. Over twenty individualpieces must be machined, stamped or turnedto the original specs because they simply nolonger exist from any supplier. This latch setis representative of every part we manufacture. Each panel, door, deck lid and fender isequal to or superior and will interchangewith the original parts they are replacing. How good are they? We won’t namenames, but cars featuring Antique AutoSheet Metal and Brookville bodies andparts have won their categories at theAmelia Island Concourse and The Model AClub of America! We had to finally confess inthe latter case because it was just to provethe point. After more than twenty years of continuedcustomer loyalty we had another great idea.Since we already had all the separate4components to repair any Model A roadster and roadster pickup, why not complete replacement bodies? Thus,Brookville Roadster, Inc. was born.Starting with what we knew best, wefirst introduced our 1928-29 Model Aroadster and the 1928-29 roadster pickup complete bodies in 1982. Soon aftercame the 1930-31 bodies and then ourexclusive extended cab versions of theroadster pick-ups. The Model A continues to be a major part of our businessand has remained popular with restorersand rodders alike. In fact, Street Rodder Magaz i n e ’s E d i t o r I n C h i e f ,B r i a n B r e n n a n recently built a beautiful red ‘29 roadster which you can seeon page 6 of this catalog. In 1995, we turned our attention to thegrandaddy of all hot rodding, thelegendary 1932 Deuce Roadster. Perhaps no other car in American historyhas meant so much to performance enthusiasts since the day it was first produced. The beautiful lines and roddinglegacy are etched into the minds ofrodders of all ages. In producing thisbody, we knew the stakes were high.Over the two year research and development we studied original cars, consulted original blueprints and talkedwith everyone who could help us produce the most perfect reproductionbody possible. In 1 9 9 7 , a l l o f o u re ff o r t s w e r e r e warded with the National Street Rod Association’s “BestNew Product of The Year” award. And937.833.4605more importantly, the Brookville ‘32Roadster has been in constant demand by the country’s most respectedstreet rod builders since its introduction. Before Brookville, the onlychoices for street rod bodies were original survivors, with all their years ofwear and tear, or fiberglass reproductions. It has been argued that the rodding hobby would not be where it istoday without the fiberglass option. The costs to tool-up for afiberglass body is a fraction of that tomanufacture a full steel structure andthe relative ease of finish-out madethem an attractive alternative. Today, due to rising material costs, fiberglassis not that much lower in cost than asteel reproduction body. Plus, the retained value of steel bodied cars hasnow proven to far exceed the initial investment difference. And now, aftermany years on our own, there are others trying the steel body business withvarying results. However, there are clear differencesin those offerings. Some have “enhanced” or representative body linesand contours. And some others makechanges targeted at buyers used toOEM driving. And naturally, some target price at the expense of thoroughengineering and manufacturing principles. Brookville started with, and hasalways produced, only the most original, most authentic, and most accuratewww.BrookvilleRoadster.com

The Real Steel Storybody possible in the belief that the details and lines from the past are thereason these cars have remained popular for over eighty years. In 2004, we took our next giant leap.Beyond the iconic ‘32 roadster, thehandsome ‘32 Three-Window coupe isone of the most popular cars ever produced. Originals are more rare todaythan roadsters and for everyday cruising or long distance tours, the ThreeWindow makes great sense. Butmanufacturing this car would be ourgreatest challenge yet. Many more engineering issues appear with a closedcar and we know modern rodders expect twenty-first century fit and finishintheircars. The first step was to completely digitally scan one of our ownwell preserved original cars usingstate-of-the-art OEMqualitydigitizing equipment. This level of accuracy uncovered theinconsistencies in even the highlyprized original cars. To manufacturethe best possible reproduction body, the variables needed to be eliminatedand soon the solution was clear. Wethen decided to create a huge onepiece stamping of each entire side ofthe coupe body. This assured thateach car would have the exact samedoor clearances and would greatlystrengthen the body structure duringfinal assembly and finishing. Theprocess is modern but the resultingbody is accurate right down to the bracing, wood and that complicated doorlatch we mentioned earlier. We like to believe our ‘32 Three Window is the Deuce Henry would havebuilt if he’d had more time. Fordproduced over 700 cars each day in1932! A remarkable achievement forthe time.To meet today’s qualityrequirements, we invest over 100man-hours in hand finishing eachBrookville coupe, even after all thestamping, forging, machining and trimming are completed. We think the results speak for themselves. Our 1932Three Window Coupe was crowned the2005 SEMA Best New Product of TheYear. Then again in 2006 the Three Windowreceived our second NSRA Best NewProduct of The Year, plus theGoodguys2006Product of The Year andHot Rod & Restoration Magazine’s2006 Product of The Year! Our newest creations include a fullfendered version of our ‘32 FordRoadster Pickup, a fender and bedpackage to build a ‘32 Ford closed cabtruck (seen on page 31). Model A BodiesThe Car That Started It AllThe Model A is the car that launched our businessalmost four decades ago. Our bodies, componentsand patch panels have remained in demand by both collectors, restorers and rodders because of the quality ofthe materials and workmanship and most importantly, theaccuracy of every original detail. The little black classicat right actually won a Model A Club restoration award! Then we had to confess it was a brand new car! Ifyou’re wanting to build a Model A on a stock type framewith full fenders or you prefer the “Deuce” frame Hi-Boystyle rod, we have everything you need for a great start. The car below is the creation of The Rodder’s Journal Associate Editor, Geoff Miles. These photos showthe attention to detail and finish we engineer into all ofour steel bodies. This ‘29 roadster has some customchanges made by the owner and features some productsnot included in the basic roadster body or chassis kits.It is for illustration purposes only.6Because of the volatility of raw materials and metals we reserve the right to adjust pricing if necessary.937.833.4605www.BrookvilleRoadster.com
