It providesmultiple labs for enhanced hands-ontraining, including electrical theory; firealarm, security; CCTV; card access; audiovideo; structured cabling; telephone;public address; CATV; master clocks; massnotification; nurse call; relay logic; distributedantenna systems (DAS); and computerliteracy. An area has also been constructed toserve as a fully functional wire-pulling lab.All of the classrooms include roomoccupancy sensors and a room controlsystem. The second floor, which housesmost of the vocational labs, also featuresa board room and meeting room.The building’s nerve center is the firstfloor Data Center, which features sevennetworked equipment racks that can beobserved through a floor to ceiling glasssurround.
