LEWISTON AUBURN COLLEGE STUDENT PROFILE REPORT FALL 2016This report focuses on any USM student who enrolled in a course at USM’s Lewiston Auburn College Fall 2012through Fall 2016. Any course with an Academic Org of USM Lewiston Auburn or a USMDept of LewistonAuburn is pulled for this summary report. The students are broken down in 3 different categories: Non degree;NonLAC matrics (matriculated in a degree program that is not LAC); andLAC matrics.In this report, you will find summaries by: Headcount by category and major/plan (Pages 1-4);Enrollments by the students’ category and major/plan (Pages 5-8);Enrollments and course credit hours generated by category (Pages 9-10).Enrollments and course credit hours generated by category and the course subjects (Pages 11-19); andThe final summaries are the Factbook sections for LAC matriculated students (Pages 20-21).Continued this year, is the breakdown for LAC matrics and the subjects of the courses they are taking. Pleasenote the * regarding enrollments (butts in seats) in courses and how they are counted in the course subjectsummaries section.A FIRST LOOK AT LEWISTON AUBURN STUDENT PROFILE FALL 2016:When looking at Headcounts: 53.6% (down from 61.1% last year) of all students taking a course at LAC were non-LAC matrics. 44.5% of the non-LAC students taking a course at LAC were non-LAC matrics. Only 9.1% were non-degree. At the non-LAC matric undergraduate level, 16.7% were GO students (conditionally admitted), 16.7% wereEnvironmental Health & Life Science students, 15.5% were Business students and 16.2% were Undeclared. 9.6% of all LAC martics enrolled Fall 2016 did NOT take an LAC course.When looking at Enrollments: At the non-LAC undergraduate level, 18.8% were Undeclared students, 18.4% were Environmental Health &Life Science students, 13.9% were Business students, and 13.8% were GO students (conditionally admitted). 64.9% of all students enrolled in a course at LAC were matriculated in an LAC program. 30% of all students enrolled in a course at LAC were non-LAC matrics. Only 5.1% were non-degree. For LAC undergraduate matrics: 35.4% of the course enrollments were in the SBS subject area, 26.1% were inthe LAC subject area and 18.6% were in the LOS subject area. For LAC graduate matrics: 83.4% of the course enrollments were in the OTH subject area and 16.4% were inthe LOS subject area. For nonLAC undergraduate matrics: 41.6% of the course enrollments were in the LAC subject area and 14.3%were in the SBS subject area, and 11.9% were in the LOS subject area.

For non-degree undergraduate students: 33.3% of the course enrollments were in the LAC subject area and24.3% were in the SBS subject area. For non-degree graduate students: 100% of the course enrollments were in the LOS subject area.When looking at Course Credit Hours: 65.5% of all course credit hours at LAC were generated by LAC matrics. 29.4% of all course credit hours at LAC were generated by non-LAC matrics. Only 5.1% were non-degree. For LAC undergraduate matrics: 37.4% of the course credit hours were in the SBS subject area, 24.2% were inthe LAC subject area and 18.6% were in the LOS subject area. For LAC graduate matrics: 84.1% of the course credit hours were in the OTH subject area and 15.7% were inthe LOS subject area. For nonLAC undergraduate matrics: 40.5% of the course credit hours were in the LAC subject area, 15% werein the SBS subject area, and 12.3% were in the LOS subject area. For non-degree undergraduate students: 33% of the course credit hours were in the LAC subject area, 25.1%of the course credit hours were in the SBS subject area, and 8.8% were in the BIO subject area. For non-degree graduate students: 100% of the course credit hours were in the LOS subject area.LEWISTON AUBURN OVERALL FALL 2016: Lewiston Auburn College represents 5.78% of USM’s Total Degree-Seeking ¹Headcount and 5.71% of USM’sTotal Degree-Seeking Student Credit Hours generated for Fall 2016. For Baccalaureate degree-seeking LAC students, Social & Behavioral Science majors represent 64.5% of thestudents and Leadership and Organizational Study majors represent 25.7% of the students. For Master degree-seeking LAC students, Occupational Therapy majors represent 70.2% of the students andLeadership Studies majors represent 29.7% of the students. For Baccalaureate degree-seeking students pursuing an LAC Minor, 45.4% were Early Childhood Studiesstudents, 29.5% were Public Health students, and 20.4% were Leadership and Organizational Study students.
