T ECHNOLOGYPROGRAMS FOR WORKING PROFESSIONALSSome of our students are exploring new careers or looking to enhance theircurrent skills. Many are balancing work and family commitments while earningtheir graduate degrees.Courses are offered at times that suit a working professional’s schedule—andcan be completed in person and/or online. IIT has campuses in Chicago andWheaton, and operates a food safety and technology laboratory in Bedford Park.CAREER-TARGETED SPECIALIZATIONSSAT program specializations are market focused and targeted toward specificcareers. SAT also offers certificate programs consisting of four graduatecourses. All courses can be applied toward master’s degrees (if you areaccepted into a degree program).

T E CHNOL OG Y DRI V E NINDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENTThe Master of Industrial Technology and Operations degree is designedfor individuals whose technical education and/or work experience requiresa broader understanding of management topics specific to manufacturing,supply chain and logistics, sustainability, and industrial facilities. You’ll beprepared for leadership and entrepreneurial roles in world-class companiesin a variety of industries with responsibility for local, regional, national, andinternational operations.INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENTAND CYBER FORENSICSThe Master of Information Technology and Management and Master of CyberForensics and Security degrees and certificates are designed for prospectiveand current IT professionals. Our hands-on, laboratory-based programs teachtheoretical underpinnings to broaden and deepen your knowledge of new andemerging information technologies, in addition to the application and integrationof these technologies, and the administrative practices used to effectivelymanage these technologies.

FOOD SCIENCE AND NUTRITIONThe Department of Food Science and Nutrition, supported by IIT’sinternationally renowned Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH),offers master’s degree (thesis and professional) and certificate programsthat will prepare you to drive technology in the rapidly growing—andincreasingly critical—fields of food safety, nutrition, compliance andregulatory affairs, quality assurance and control, and research anddevelopment in both private and public sectors.Through our one-of-a-kind collaborative research consortium, studentshave the opportunity to work with IIT, FDA, and industry scientistsand professionals.
