Share these statistics with the participants: There are over 114,400 jobs available as vettechs Veterinary technologists and techniciansmust complete a postsecondary program inveterinary technology. Technologistsusually need a 4-year bachelor’s degree,and technicians need a 2-year associatedegree. Typically, both technologists andtechnicians must take a credentialing examand become registered, licensed, orcertified, depending on the requirements ofthe state in which they work.about being vet tech.
