Public Input Meeting Doug Osborne ParkSaturday, May 14, 2 p.m. at Doug Osborne ParkMonday, May 16, 5:30 p.m. at the Cynthia Neal Center (also rain date/location for May 14)The park district is conducting public input meetings to discuss the renovation of Doug Osborne Park. Also, the districtis applying for an Illinois Department of Natural Resources OSLAD grant and renovating Osborne Park which currentlyincludes a playground play features, swings, benches and picnic seating. We would like to hear what you like and dislikeabout the park as well as additional amenities you would like to see at the park. Children will have the opportunity tobecome an Osborne Park Pal by attending the public input meeting and sharing their thoughts while looking at newplayround equipment. The Osborne Park Pals will also be invited to attend the selection of the playground equipmentonce bids are presented to the park district in 2023. The first 35 children to attend the public meeting on May 14th willreceive an Osborne Park Pal t-shirt and can sign up for construction updates. Stay awhile for refreshments and enjoysome play time at the park. If it rains on May 14th, the rain date/location is May 16, 5:30 p.m. at the CN Center, or youcan send comments and suggestions to hhpd@sbcglobal.net. Play should be suspended until the allclear signal, three short 5-second blasts, is heard. This systemis mechanical and may malfunction. Always use common senseif you hear thunder or see lightning. All rental fees are required 7 business days prior toyour rental date. All money must be paid before we confirm the date. The 50 will be refunded/returned by mail within30 business days after the rental. If any damage is present after the party rental, the deposit will not be refunded. Anygroup of 10 or more must have a permit. The total number of people attending will need to be included when schedulingthe party/rental. PRESCHOOL 2022 - 2023 5We have designed a balanced preschool program ready to meet the educational, social, emotional, motor, and creative needs of children3 to 5 years. Preschool children will be introduced to letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and other basic concepts. Pre-Kindergartenchildren will be introduced to phonics, pre-writing skills, fine motor skills, reading readiness, and number concepts. Story-time, musicactivities, and seasonal art projects will be included in the program. Children must be 3 years old by September 1, 2022.
