A gift that lasts a lifetimeA gift in your Will won’t help just one generation of children. It will help many generations. Our programs givepeople the skills and tools to become self-sufficient. So their children and grandchildren all benefit from yoursupport. That’s something we can all celebrate. Below are examples of just some of the ways your gift will help.4 The gift of education In Kitgum, Uganda, generous gifts from World Vision supporters have helped build classrooms, desks,benches, latrines and water tanks as well as train 28 teachers. Hundreds of children will now be able toreceive an education. In time, they will pass this gift on to the next generation.4 Strong and healthy children One in six children in developing countries die from easily preventable diseases before their fifthbirthday. In Atsaphangthong, Laos, health centres have been built to provide medical care for morethan 8,000 people in 15 villages. Precious lives can now be saved and children can look forward to long,healthy lives.4 Life-saving clean water In Ahanta West, Ghana, bequests from World Vision supporters have helped to build a toilet block anda drinking and washing facility for 500 school children. Contaminated water and poor sanitation will nolonger cause the spread of deadly water-borne diseases.Including World Vision in your Will ensures you can change the future of a child and a community, bringinghope and joy for the future.

How to include World Vision in your WillPlease word your Will as outlined below if you wish to include a contribution to World Vision. Simply selectthe most relevant section according to how you wish to include us. And again, thank you for your support.1. If you wish to leave a specific bequesta) Support of World Vision programs “I give the sum of dollars/or* % of my estate, free of all duties to World Vision ofAustralia, 1 Vision Drive, Burwood East, in the state of Victoria, for the general purpose of the saidorganisation and I DECLARE that the receipt of the World Vision authorised officer shall be sufficientdischarge to my trustees who shall not be obliged to see the application thereof.”b) To child sponsorship programs “I give the sum of dollars/or* % of my estate, free of all duties to World Vision ofAustralia, 1 Vision Drive, Burwood East, in the state of Victoria, to be applied to the World VisionAustralia child sponsorship program or the program which is the nearest equivalent thereof and IDECLARE that the receipt of the World Vision authorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to mytrustees who shall not be obliged to see the application thereof.”c) To benefit your sponsored child If you are a World Vision child sponsor and wish your bequest to continue providing a sponsorshipfor your child, please use the following: “I give the sum of dollars/or* % of my estate, free of all duties to World Vision ofAustralia, 1 Vision Drive, Burwood East, in the state of Victoria, to be applied in the first instance to* Choose either a dollar amount or a percentage.
