Hunter hosts Annual Sales, Service &Distributor MeetingsOver 650 Hunter Sales & Service Representatives, and100 Distributors attended the 2013 Annual Meetings.This year marks Hunter’s 19th Annual Meeting season.Participants were introduced to Hunter’s latestadvancements, including new WinAlign 14 software,the Quick Check three-minute inspection system,and new RX Scissor lift. Hunter announces new Swing Air Jacks,LED light kit for lift racksHunter further improved it’s RX16 lift rack with new9,000-lb swing air jacks. The new swing air jacksare faster and placed lower for increased drive onclearance. The new swing air jack also features a63-inch reach, allowing for more pickup options.In April, Hunter released a new LED light kit availablefor all lift models. The LED lights are located higheron the lift, providing more direct and superiorillumination. This year’s WorldSkills Exhibition washeld in July in Leipzig, Germany, and welcomedparticipants from 65 countries. The Auto SkillsTournament determines the world’s best youngautomotive technician.Sponsored by Volkswagen, this year’s Auto SkillsTournament featured Hunter’s HawkEye Elitealignment system as the competition’s exclusivealignment system. Contestants showed their skillsand speed in five alignment bays (shown left). Team UK Auto Skills competitor Alex Knightstated, “The Hunter HawkEye Elite alignmentsystem is quick, easy to use, and far better thananything else [we have] used in the past.” TheHawkEye Elite alignment system was also highlypraised by WorldSkills judges as the only productthat supported every native language representedby the Tournament’s contestants.4

Hunter displays state-of-the-art booth atAutopromotec 2013Hunter displayed a full line of industry-leadingalignment systems, wheel and tire servicemachines, brake service, and inspection laneequipment at Autopromotec 2013.Held bi-annually in Bologna, Italy, Autopromotecdraws auto industry professionals from around theworld to see the latest vehicle service equipment.This year, Autopromotec hosted 1,400 exhibitorsand attracted over 100,000 visitors.Hunter partnered with Italian distributor RivoltaAutomotive to draw huge crowds to see Hunterequipment in action. Featured in the booth wereHunter’s HawkEye Elite alignment system, newQuick Check three-minute inspection system,new wheel balancers including the Road ForceTouch diagnostic wheel balancer and otherimportant innovations from Hunter. Madhus hosted a cocktaildinner and awards ceremony for all attendees.Hunter Region Manager Avtar Singh noted that“Hunter’s partnership with Madhus has been agreat one. Madhus has played a key role in not onlydeveloping the Indian market for Hunter, but at thesame time it has changed the landscape of the wheelservice equipment market in India.”Madhus and Hunter partnered in 2000. Hunter’s Douglas named 2013 Inventor of theYear by Saint Louis BarThe Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL)recently named Hunter Engineering R & D EngineeringManager Mike Douglas as 2013 Inventor of the Year.Mike earned the award for his years of innovativework in the automotive service field. With over40 issued patents, Mike has dedicated his entire34-year professional career to tire and wheel balancing.His inventions have defined Hunter’s market-leadingwheel balancer line by improving the capabilities andproductivity of Hunter’s customers worldwide.The award was presented in St. Louis at the BAMSLInventor of the Year Banquet, an annual gathering ofpatent and trademark attorneys.
