GE HealthcareCorometrics 170 SeriesFetal Monitors A Powerful Solution for a Full Range of Antepartum Applications

Improved obstetric outcomesstart with accurate assessmentsFor more than three decades, Corometrics fetal monitors have been helping cliniciansimprove the standard of obstetric care. Part of our complete family of uniquely powerfulfetal monitors, Corometrics 170 Series monitors are designed to provide the informationyou need to make quick, accurate and cost-effective clinical assessments. These compactand lightweight monitors are designed for antepartum applications in the office and hospital. Dual, 9-crystal Nautilus watertightultrasound transducer permits externalmonitoring of twins using technology thatminimizes the need for repositioning. Optional fetal movement detectionalgorithm automatically senses gross fetalmovement and annotates its occurrence onthe strip chart. Independent volume controls facilitateeasy transducer placement. Fetal heart rate alarm provides both audibleand visual alerts if the heart rate is outsideof the user-defined high/low range. Nautilus watertight toco transducerpermits quick, external acquisition ofuterine activity. Its flat-surface designmeans it won’t leave a mark on your patient. Heart rate offset mode makes it easy tovisually distinguish between the heartrates of twins by allowing you to offsetthe secondary FHR by 20BPM. Heartbeat coincidence recognition providesvisual and audible indications when itdetects synchronous fetal or maternalheart-rate signals, indicating that you maybe monitoring a duplicate signal. Remote event marker makes it easy toannotate perceived fetal movements (FM)or other events on the strip chart. Easy-to-load Z-fold paper stacks itselfneatly upon exiting the recorder, facilitatingeasy storage. Built-in dual digital interface seamlesslyconnects the monitor to a ClinicalInformation System as well as to selectedexternal monitors – such as DINAMAP non-invasive blood pressure monitorsor maternal SpO and FSpO monitors.22 Telemetry interface enables ambulatorymonitoring while continuing surveillance.Used with the Nautilus watertight ultrasoundand toco transducers, monitoring can evencontinue during hydrotherapy. Large, easy-to-read display clearlypresents information on fetal heart rate anduterine activity.

With our mobile roll stand you can takethe monitor and all the necessary supplieswherever they are needed. The optional Fetal Acoustic Stimulator (FASt)uses low-frequency vibro-acoustic stimuli (VAS)to “wake” the fetus, increasing the efficiencyof antepartum testing and improving retestconsistency. VAS is indicated with a musicalnote on the strip. GE’s Fetal Acoustic Stimulatoris the only FDA-approved FASt available today.

Corometrics 170 Series Monitorsare Equipped with Unique 9-CrystalUltrasound Transducers – a GE Exclusive. This capability helps ensure superior signal quality bymaintaining a uniform beam pattern throughout itsdepth of penetration, thus minimizing the need forrepositioning. A powerful clinical advantage isgained to assist you in challenging cases such asa preterm fetus or obese mother.Conventional Design9-Crystal Design4 cm4 cm8 cm8 cm12 cm12 cm16 cm16 cmAt greater depths, a conventional7-crystal transducer has a narrowerfocal region.Corometrics’ 9-Crystal transducerachieves a wider focal region for moreuniform coverage at greater depths.Remote event marker for simpleannotation of maternal-perceivedfetal movements.
