Welcome to Yuba County! Yuba County is located inCalifornia's Central Valley, fifty miles north ofSacramento, alongside both the Feather and YubaRivers. Yuba County encompasses six school districts:Marysville Joint Unified School District, Yuba CommunityCollege District, Camptonville Union School District,Plumas Lake Elementary School District, WheatlandSchool District, and Wheatland Union High SchoolDistrict.In Yuba County we take pride in the educationalprograms we offer our students, the opportunity for themto access their first step towards higher education at ourlocal community college, and we are a mere fifty milesfrom two state universities. In addition, we haveprograms and instruction that address the needs ofstudents needing alternative choices for their instruction,as well as training and vocational support that will lead them successfully into the worldof work and becoming contributing citizens.
