The theme for this year’s national celebrations is ‘Get Up! Stand Up!Show Up!’. Students will participate in a range of activities and workshops during the week. The week will commence with awelcome ceremony on Monday 13 June at 8:00am and culminate with a special NAIDOC Assembly on the morning of Friday 17 June.I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Indigenous Reference Group led by Trish Borg and our P&C for again supporting thisimportant school event.Cleaners’ & Schools Officers’ DayNext Friday, 10 June we will celebrate ‘Cleaners and Schools Officers’ Day. The purpose of the day is to recognise and thank ourfantastic cleaning team for all of their hard work and dedication. NAIDOC WeekDuring week 9 (Monday 13 June – Friday 17 June) we will celebrate NAIDOC Week at Currumbin SS. This year’s themeis ‘Get Up, Stand Up!, Show Up! CURRUMBIN KIDS CLUB NEWSVacation CareOur Vacation Care program is now available, parents can access a copy on our website www.currumbinkidslcub.com.au or bycollecting a copy at the service. Bookings will also be open via the MyFamilyLounge App. If you have any issues accessing this,please email us and we can assist with bookings admin@currumbinkidsclub.com.auWe have planned for a few different excursions to allow us to take more children out of the centre. We hope thisalleviates some of the waitlists for the service and allows more children to visit some new locations.
