About this GuideThe Gainesville Recycling Resource Guide is an informational directory to assist residents andbusinesses with finding local options to recycle, donate, compost, resell, repair, and properlydispose of various unwanted materials. Be sure to confirm with drop-off locations prior to arriving toverify site location, materials accepted, and hours of operation. This guide was compiled as aninformational service to our residents and does not imply an endorsement or approval bythe City of Gainesville. All businesses and organizations listed in this guide are responsible forcomplying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws pertaining to recycling, waste disposal,and environmental protection. Most items listed are accepted for recycling for free at drop-off sites;however, fees may apply for the disposal of other items at private facilities and for commerciallygenerated waste.
