Directory of IAC Credentialed CoachesCoach Approach Training / Institute for Applied Coaching (CAT‐IAC) are twobranches of one organization. IAC governs the coach credentialing ofprofessional organizers, productivity specialists and other professionals whohave been trained within the Coach Approach Training Program. ICF, theInternational Coaching Federation, establishes coaching industry standards. In2014, ICF accredited our CA/IAC coach training and credentialing program.The CA curriculum is grounded in traditional or classic coach training, as defined by ICF. It is alsocomprehensive ADHD (executive functioning) coach training, which is particularly effective for clients copingwith organizing and productivity stresses, challenging life circumstances, brain‐based conditions or otherchronic health issues.The credentialed coaches listed here completed a comprehensivefoundation coach training program, a minimum one‐year commitment. OurACSTH Certified Coach Training Foundation Program includes five courses:Coaching Essentials, Strengths‐Based Coaching, Brain‐Based Coaching, Life &ADHD Coaching, and Coach Integration. The foundation training includes more than 60 hours of live trainerinstruction in small classes, intensive coaching practice with review, assigned readings, written assignmentsand assessments, and recorded client sessions submitted for trainer feedback.To apply for a credential, foundation graduates must have completed additional, advanced, specialized coachtraining, intensive coach mentoring and a graduate‐level project. They submit recorded coaching sessions(with the permission of the clients) to demonstrate their coaching competence: facilitation of the coachingsession and process, the use of coaching tools, high‐level listening and communication, coaching presence, etc.ICF credentials coaches at different levels, using defined requirements for training and client hours, as well asranked measures of coaching competence. Associate Certified Coach (ACC) is ICF’s first competency level.Requirements for our Certified Organizer Coach, Certified Neurodiversity Coach and Certified ProductivityCoach credentials exceed ACC requirements. Our five other credentials are based on ICF’s second competencylevel, Professional Certified Coach (PCC). For the PCC, required training hours are doubled and client hours arequadrupled. IAC is credentialing and certifying coaches, but the expertise of the professionals on this list reflectthe synergy and competence of three fields. They typically coach long distance using telephone or video sessions – most oftheir coach training and practice was conducted in these formats. Coaching at a distance offers distinctadvantages it’s private and efficient (no travel time) and focus can be easier to hold.
