MRJ revealed a large left occipital tumor with evidence of hemorrhage withinthe tumor.GROSS PATHOLOGY:The specimen was received in multiple parts and formed an aggregate ofaboui 4 em of pinkwhite tissue fragments.

The cut surface showed dark brownhomogenous tumor and a 2.5 em portion of normal adrenal gland.CO NTRIBUTO R: LLUMC Pathology Group (mra)Loma Linda, CACASE NO. 8 - OCTO BER 1999TISSUE FROM: Left adrenal glandACCESSION #28550CLINI CAL ABSTRACT :This 7-year-old Caucasian female presented with headache. nausea, vomiting, dehydration andabdominal pain and was found to be in hypertensive crisis. She had a history of seiZI!re disorder.Work-up found an enlarged left adrena l gland.GROSS P ATHOLOGY:The 23 gram. 8.0 x 4.0 x 3.0 em adrenal gland contained a 4.0 x 3.5 x 3.0 em encapsulatedspherical tan-brown mass.
