Annual Report 2018July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018

Mission and VisionOur mission is to improve the health of Maine by providing substance use, mental health and wellness services to youth and families. Our vision is that all Maine youth will have opportunities to realize their full potentialto live productive, healthy and rewarding lives.A Message from Day One CEO & Board PresidentDear Friends,Innovative and timely in its evolution, Day One has grown from a street clinic incorporated in 1973to Maine’s leading provider of integrated care for youth and families. Our belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to realize their full potential is the vision that drives our work.Maine suffers from generational substance use. Interrupting the cycle of substance use in familiesrequires us to focus on the health and well-being of our youth and their families. Due to the complexity of substance use and the often unmet co-occurring mental health concerns, we recognize thebenefit of enlarging the circle of care to include not only the whole person, but the whole family, forsuccessful outcomes.Day One remains committed to building a stronger and more expansive range of integrated servicesto meet the needs of youth and families in our State. We want to thank our partners and supportersthat have joined us in this effort over the past year. We also want to invite those who are passionateabout the health and well-being of our youth to join us in our efforts to build brighter futures forMaine youth and families.Gregory BowersCEOZander AbbottBoard PresidentBoard of DirectorsExecutive CommitteePresident: Zander AbbottVice President: Sam WarrenTreasurer: Rob SmallSecretary: Jill FrameBoard MembersKatie BelleroseEmily BugbeeDennis CarrilloAndrea CayerDoug CranshawKevin FreemanEd GooginsAndrea Lai
