Ragging in any form is prohibited in the University Campus:The University follows a Zero Tolerance Policy towards Ragging. Ragging in any form is acrime and a punishable offence. As per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court ofIndia, University Grants Commission has framed “Regulations on Curbing the Menace ofRagging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009” and the National Medical Commission /Medical Council of India has framed “(Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging in MedicalColleges/Institutions) Regulations, 2009” and notified in the Govt. of India Gazette inorder to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging.
