As a parent, how can I supportmy student? Ensure a healthy balance of academicand social involvement. Ask your student about progress inschool; check grades and attendance onHAC. Check in with teachers about concernsor notify them of any critical eventshappening in your student’s life. Monitor social media usage. Get to know your student’s friends. Give them room to grow and confronttheir challenges. Allow them and encourage them to selfadvocate.
