Program ParticipantsJalen CampbellJalen Campbell is a rising junior from Saraland, Alabama. He majors in Political Science. But for hisreliability, persistence and skills, the Taskforce would not have launched the Program this summer.Jalen serves the Taskforce as the student liaison between the Taskforce and its participants. In additionto his pre-law studies, he represents the school not only as a student ambassador for prospectivestudents and dignitaries visiting the campus, but also as one of the first students to be part of apromotional media campaign by Ralph Lauren for its trailblazing Polo Collection exclusively forMorehouse College and Spelman College. The clothing line sold out within hours once it hit the stores,and Campbell became instantly recognized by HBCU students nationwide.Ryan GibbsRyan Gibbs is a rising senior from Loganville, GA. He majors in Political Science. Mr. Gibbs began hisquest to be a lawyer when he stepped foot inside a courthouse and felt its energy. That summer, hetook home the title of Mock Trial Winner during a law camp offered by a local bar association. Sincethen, he furthers his preparation through an internship at the Fulton County Superior Court, bybecoming a member of the Morehouse Moot Court Team, and through his position on the governanceboard of the Spelman / Morehouse Pre-law Society. While receiving scholarship awards every academicyear while in Morehouse, Mr. Gibbs gained work experience through the Morehouse National AlumniAssociation and promoted to Lead Supervisor. While balancing work and college classes, heRollin Jackson, Jr.Rollin Jackson, Jr. is a rising sophomore from O’Fallon, MO. He has chosen to major in Political Scienceand minor in International Studies. Congratulations are in order, as he has been elected SophomoreClass President. In 2020, Mr. Jackson, an Eagle Scout, was selected by his peers to serve as the firstAfrican American Chapter Chief for the Boone Trails Chapter of the Order of the Arrow Scouting HonorSociety. In this role, he had responsibilities over 2000 members of his chapter as well as accountabilitywith the national office. Presently, he still holds the Order of the Arrow National Diversity, Equity, andInclusion Committee Member for Boy Scouts of America. He earned a 3.8 GPA his freshman year.Joshua JohnsonJoshua Johnson graduated from Morehouse last month and hails from Inglewood, California. Mr.Johnson majored in Psychology. He joined the Munger Tolles & Olson Fellows Program this year. Wellon his way to a successful law school experience and entry into the legal profession, Mr. Johnsonshowed tenacity early. Prior to becoming a fellow, he interned in the Fulton County Superior Courtwhere he became acquainted with courtroom process; he also joined a Moot Court Team. Recentlyinducted into the Psi Chi Honor Society, he merited his presence on the Honor Roll and the Dean’s List.Showing mastery at using his time wisely while accumulating accomplishments, for the last five years,Mr. Johnson consistently held part-time positions that brought him increasingly well-earnedresponsibilities.

Kenneth Martin, IIIKenneth Martin is a rising junior from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a Political Science major. Mr.Martin is Minister at the Good News Chapel Church in New Orleans. In Atlanta, he serves as ChapelAssistant at the Martin Luther King, Jr. lnternational Chapel located on Morehouse’s campus. Prior tothis calling, Mr. Martin served as president of his school’s debate team where his formal advocacytraining began. Mr. Martin is committed to serving justice in its many forms.James McGee, IIJames McGee II is rising sophomore from Kansas City, Missouri. He has chosen to major dually inPolitical Science and International Studies, and minors in Leadership Studies. Mr. McGee distinguishedhimself this past year as a Howard Thurman Scholar and recognition in the 2021 Morehouse CollegeFreshman Spotlight. In Kansas City, he was a founding member and First President of The Black ArchivesYouth Coalition Network which is a part of the Black Archives of Mid-America – a non-profit dedicated topreserving the history of African Americans in the Mid-West. For two years, Mr. McGee alsoparticipated in the Emerging Leader Internship at the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus. In high school,he was Student Council President, Vice President, and Class President of his freshmen class.Keon RosadoKeon Rosado is a rising junior from Baltimore, Maryland. He majors in Political Science. Mr. Rosado isinterested in building strong communities. While in Baltimore, he participated in large-scale fundraisersthat brought revenue to 700 low-income families in the greater Baltimore area at critical times such asthe pandemic and the holiday seasons. He also interned at the Economic Development Department inBaltimore where he spearheaded a web-based platform Hopkins Local Black Business Showcase thathighlighted over 25 Black businesses within the city. He is on the Dean’s List and Honor Roll and is amember on the collegiate level of the National Action Network.Marchellos Scott, IIMarchellos Scott is a rising sophomore from Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Scott has chosen to major duallyin Political Science and International Studies. Before college, Mr. Scott volunteered over three years atTeen Health Mississippi. There he was introduced to the legislative process as he learned to advocatefor comprehensive sex education in public schools. The experience led to Mr. Scott becoming aLegislative Intern at the Mississippi State Capitol. There he became even further exposed to the processof enacting legislation and advancing public policy. Mr. Scott has a background in public service and isfirmly committed to uplifting others as his long history of student teaching and working in the publicschool system reflects.Kerry SingletonKerry Singleton is a rising junior from North Charleston, South Carolina.
