Be sure to take the time to review ALL information included inMA/Credential Program bulletins. Please be sure to meet deadlines for all action items. See the“Due Date” column on the right.The bulletin is formatted so that you may utilize it as a checklist if you so desire. Keep a copy of eachbulletin for current and future reference. All bulletins will be sent to your UCSC email account andarchived on our website.Please note that Summer Bridge classes are an early start to Fall courses and are part of your Fallregistration. Our intention is that you are in your placements continuously, so we begin some fallclasses early since you are also in your placement. It is important to use the Course Schedules that weemail to you. There are typically a number of changes between the correct schedule included inour bulletins and the online schedule. Primarily because we are attempting to coordinate withinstructors to minimize the number days you need to drive to campus.ACTION ITEM/ INFORMATIONDUE DATEState Credentialing RequirementsThe following state credentialing requirements must be completed prior to application forthe Preliminary Credential at the end of your second summer, July 2022. The deadline tosubmit documented proof of receiving Covid-19 vaccine is 2 weeks before the start of fallquarter. [MAC Fall/Summer Bridge classes BEGIN AUGUST 30.]Upload COVID-19 Vaccine ProofUpload your vaccine card now and have one less thing to think about in the fall! NEW CAMPUS FACE COVERING POLICY AS OF JULY 2, 2021To advance the health and wellness of our campus community, we are now requiring thatindividuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear face coverings when they are in indoorsettings at campus locations.The COVID situation continues to be fluid. We will keep you informed of any new orchanging public-health protocols on campus as we approach the start of fall quarter.Individuals are not required to wear face coverings when alone in offices not open to thepublic or when in a personal residence or private residence-hall room, though they will berequired in shared spaces such as residence-hall hallways, group bathrooms and lounges.The requirement will be effective as of Tuesday, Aug. 3.
