MOVERS AND SHAKERSAmerica’s MostInfluentialPodiatrists–Part 2In 2001, PM asked its consultingeditors to each select 25 DPMswhom they thought were themost influential. What emergedwas a virtual Who’s Who ofpodiatry. This diverse group rangesfrom well-known legends to up-andcoming superstars. They representa cross-section of the country andsome of the brightest lights in theprofession. We decided to repeat this processevery five years. This time, we alsoasked the readers of PM News, ourInternet newsletter, to nominate additional podiatrists who might havebeen overlooked in the difficult selection process. We have not listedsome legendary podiatrists becausethey are no longer active in the profession. Their legacies, however, willlive on eternally in the PM PodiatryHall of Fame. We’ve listed a short curriculumvitae for each honoree. This is acondensation of current and pastpositions, publications, and notableachievements and is based on information submitted by each podiatrist. We commend those who were selected.
