There are two different Xerox Intelligent Barcode PrintingSolution downloads. One contains PostScript barcode fonts, the other has PCL barcode fonts.The intelligent barcode printing solution supports the following barcode functions: Check digit calculationPlacement of start/stop and middle bar characters into data stringData string compression and encodingBarcode rotation of 90 or 270 degreesTo install barcode fonts, the Xerox Intelligent Barcode Printing Solution requires the Xerox FontManagement Utility, which is a separate download. Instructions on how to use the FontManagement Utility to install barcode fonts can be found in the Xerox Intelligent BarcodePrinting Solution download.XEROX INTELLIGENT BARCODE PRINTING SOLUTION FORSAP POSTSCRIPTThe Xerox Intelligent Barcode Printing Solution is a printer based solution that enables Xerox Devices automated and error free barcode printing from SAP R/3, SAP R/3 Enterprise, SAP ERPCentral Components, MS Word or other ERP applications that support PostScript printing. Onceinstalled, the Xerox Intelligent Barcode Printing Solution seamlessly integrates into the SAPsystem and allows the printing of Postscript barcodes on any appropriately configured Xerox Devices in the SAP network. PostScript barcode printing can be enabled on Xerox Devices byobtaining the Xerox Intelligent Barcode Printing Solution and Font Management Utility. Bothcan be downloaded free of charge.
