It has become the national model for new graduatenurse residency programs throughout the United States. More than 1,400 nurses have graduated from the RNResidency as of June 2018; 67 percent of those graduatesare still employed at CHLA. Approximately 1,200 nursing students were taught atCHLA in 2018.
