If thedew point is not reached, a moisture film can form onthe surface to be treated and cause separation (DIN4108-5 Tab.1).If KEMPEROL TC is applied on top of a waterproofingsystem, this has to adhere fully to the surface. Any airbubbles have to be removed.KEMPEROL TC can be applied on an existingwaterproofing system according to the times given forfurther coating in the respective technical data sheet. IfKEMPEROL TC is applied on a KEMPEROL V 210 orBR waterproofing system, clean all transition areas andjoints with KEMPEROL Cleaning Agent MEK.Concrete and screeds must be clean (residual moisturein the upper 2 cm 5 %) and sound. Formerwaterproofings, coatings or screeds have to beremoved completely. Please consider the tolerances forevenness according to DIN 18202.Mixing :Add component B to component A and mix thoroughlyuntil no streaks are visible. To avoid mixing errors, themixture is poured into an empty container and stirredagain. Add KEMPEROL TC filler (component C)portion by portion while the mixing machine is slowrunning and mix until a homogeneous mixture isachieved. The prepared mixture should be distributedon the surface to be coated with a trowel or squeegee.When coating slopes of more than 3 % inclination, addone pack KEMPEROL Thixotropic Additive tocomponent A of a 20 kg working pack before mixing itwith component B. With the KEMPEROL TCAccelerator the processing and curing time ofKEMPEROL TC can be reduced.Mineral scattering on parking decks:After the setting has started, scatter KEMPERDUR Colour Quartz, KEMPERDUR Natural Quartz orKEMPERDUR Granite in the still wet layer ofKEMPEROL TC (within approx. 30 minutes according to the surroundig temperatures and weatherconditions). Ensure full surface coverage. Afterhardening - depending on climatic conditions - sweepaway the excess and seal the entire area withKEMPEROL Top Coat, KEMPERDUR Colour TopCoat or KEMPEROL AC Finish.On balconies and terraces:KEMPEROL TC can have a finish in different coloursby applying KEMPERDUR Deko or KEMPERDUR Deko 2K . In this case, de-aerate the freshly laidKEMPEROL TC immediately with a spike-tooth rolleror strew KEMPERDUR Colour Quartz in to obtain aquartz sand coating (sealing with KEMPERDUR Dekotransparent). On balconies and terraces,KEMPEROL TC can be used as a levelling layer tocompensate for uneveness resulting from fleeceoverlappings. Applywithin 25 minutes.Apply the primer evenly with a nylon roller, ensuringcomplete substrate coverage and avoidingaccumulation of material.After approximately 12 hours (depending on weatherconditions, such as wind, ambient temperature andhumidity) and provided that the primed surface is tackfree and dry, further suitable KEMPER SYSTEMproducts can be applied.Important note:KEMPEROL D-Primer must be overcoated within 8days of application, otherwise adhesion of subsequentcoats cannot be guaranteed and re-priming will benecessary. To avoid this, the wet primer can be blindedwith KEMPERDUR Natural Quartz 0.7-1.2 mm,allowing recoating to take place unhindered after this 8day period.Use as levelling mortar:Before applying the levelling mortar, the substrate hasto be primed with KEMPEROL D-Primer.
