State Medical Faculty, Lucknow in 2008, ApexSchool of Nursing started offering Diploma Course General Nursing and Midwifery with an intake of 30students per year. Acknowledging the highstandards of the School's academic infrastructure,the INC, New Delhi allowed the Apex School ofNursing to enhance its yearly intake of studentsfrom 30 to 60. Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM)course has also been introduced.Apex College of NursingHowever, the need for preparing graduate and postgraduate nurses was felt, who, it was thought, aftercompletion of their course would make a qualityimpact in grooming efficient and competentnursing community of global standards, throughtheir quality teaching and training process. ApexCollege of Nursing came into existence in 2009.Afterobtaining approval from the U. P. Government, theINC, New Delhi and the U. P. State Medical Faculty,the institution started B. Sc. Since 2021 Apex College ofNursing is affiliated with Atal Bihari VajpayeeMedical University, Lucknow.
