In Florida, students can take upper-level courses inover 500 programs located on college campuses.These programs enable students to remain on acollege campus while receiving the upper-levelinstruction they need to complete a bachelor'sdegree.There are two ways to get a bachelor’s degree inFlorida:1.Bachelor's Degrees Offered by FourYear Colleges & UniversitiesAssociate degree graduates can earnbachelor's degrees at public or private fouryear postsecondary institutions or at FloridaState Colleges through 2 2 partnershipsbetween the college and other highereducation institutions.Bachelor's Degrees Awarded by aFlorida CollegeBroward College was granted authorizationfrom the Florida Legislature in 2007 tooffer bachelor's degrees that meet local andregional workforce needs and demand(section 1007.33, F.S). Students, who successfully complete the Supervisionand Management degree program, will gain technical hands-onskills through case studies and a capstone project, which willinclude analysis and problem solving through simulations andsimilar activities. This program will focus on current andemerging issues in business and management, such as financialmarkets, international trade, human resources, and will focus ondeveloping comprehensive solutions to real-world problemsassociated with current management and organizationalleadership challenges.
