What do you need from God today?Stop and think about that for a moment.It’s a serious question. Picture yourself theway you want to be, healthy and whole inevery area of your life. That is the will ofGod for you, you know. First Thessalonians5:23 says He desires you to be “preservedsound and complete [and found] blamelessat the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (theMessiah)” (The Amplified Bible).God wants you to be sound and complete. It’s His perfect will for you to bewhole, undamaged and intact—spirit, souland body—before Jesus returns. In light ofthat fact, let me ask you again: What changes

would you need God to make for His will tobe fulfilled in your life? What would it takefor you to be whole?It would take a miracle.That may well be what you’re thinkingright now. If so, I am here to tell you God hasone for you. He has as many miracles as youneed. He is the God of the miraculous.What’s more, He is thinking about youtoday. That’s amazing, isn’t it? The fact thatthe Almighty God, the Creator of heavenand earth has you and me on His mind isalmost more than we can comprehend. Yetwe know it’s true because the psalmist says,“How precious it is, Lord, to realize that youare thinking about meWhen you woke upconstantly! I can’t evencount how many times athis morning, Godday your thoughts turnwas thinking abouttoward me. And when Iyou.waken in the morning,you are still thinking ofme!” (Psalm 139:17-18, The Living Bible).Just imagine that! When you woke up thismorning, God was thinking about you. He4

was aware of your needs. He was mindful ofthe blessings He has laid up for you and Hewas making plans to get them to you.In other words, when you awoke this morning God had your miracle on His mind.Every Part PreciousI preach about healing a lot and healing iswonderful. But sometimes you need morethan healing—you need a miracle. A miracleis different. A miracle is something that isabsolutely impossible apart from the supernatural working of God. It’s something thatcannot happen by natural means.If you have a disease, you need healing. Butif you have a part missing—if you were bornwithout fingers or toes, for example, you needa miracle. For years it’s been prophesied thatwe will see those kinds of miracles again inthe Body of Christ. It’s been prophesied thatwe’ll see all the miracles the early Church sawand even greater miracles than those. I sensein my heart we’re there!I truly believe it. Some might say, “Surely,5

you don’t expect to see someone grow a parton their body where there was none before?”Yes, I do. God has parts for people! TheBible says He made all our parts before wewere born and we can easily believe that.Why then is it so unthinkable that He couldadd another part at a later time, if needed?Just before the verses that tell us of God’sthoughts about us, the psalmist says:I will praise thee; for I am fearfully andwonderfully made: marvellous are thyworks; and that my soul knoweth rightwell. My substance was not hid from thee,when I was made in secret, and curiouslywrought in the lowest parts of the earth.Thine eyes did see my substance, yetbeing unperfect [or unformed]; and inthy book all my members were written,which in continuance were fashioned,when as yet there was none of them(Psalm 139:14-16).According to these verses, God wrote downall your members (every part of you) in His6

book. And because God does all things well,He didn’t write them down as broken or missing. He wrote them down as whole and intact.My friend Billye Brim has revelation of thisso she speaks to her body according to thesescriptures. She says, “My parts are written inGod’s book. So parts, I command you to bethe way God designed you to be. I commandyou to be whole and complete, in agreementwith God’s book. All my parts are intact,with nothing missing, nothing broken. Allthe parts of my body function and work asthey’re designed to work. I receive what theBook says about me!”You may not have thought God cared aboutyour parts, but He does. Your parts are asimportant to Him as they are to you. He madethem for you and wants you to have them theway He made them. We need to get this revelation because God is ready to restore someparts. He wants to work miracles!Expect the ImpossibleI am fully expecting to see those miracles7

in the days and months to come. In timespast, we’ve had people who were very smallin stature because of disease or abnormality, come to Healing School and ask us topray for them to grow. In the natural, theirDNA had patterned their bodies to be verysmall. But that’s not their heavenly DNA.That’s not how God designed them to be.That’s just something that happened asa result of the devil’s work in this world.Through thousands of years of gettingpeople to sin, he’s been able to mess upGod’s perfect plan for people—not onlyspiritually but physically.What do you think God did when He sawthat the devil’s work had perverted His divineplan and made that person abnormally small?Do you think He said, “Oh, my. I guess the devilwon this time. I’d better go back to My book,scratch out My perfect physical plan for thisperson and write in ‘midget-sized,’ instead”?Certainly not! God never changes. He justkept the original entry in His book which saysthat person’s DNA is perfect. Now He’s waitingfor someone to agree with Him and believe for8

His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.If faith in the Word of God is spoken andreleased without wavering, I believe wecan see that small person G-R-O-W up andbecome normal right before our eyes.You might think that would be impossible and, naturally speaking, you’d be right.“With men this is impossible; but with Godall things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).“All things are possible to him that believeth”(Mark 9:23). So we need to start believing.We need to start expecting the impossible!It’s Never Too LateOf course, people with physical abnormalities or missing parts aren’t the only oneswho need miracles. Miracles are also neededwhen natural circumstances have gone onso long that it looks likeit’s too late for a turnStart expectingaround. Abraham andthe impossible.Sarah needed that kindof miracle. They neededa child for their lives to be whole and intact.9

Yet they were well past childbearing agewhen God told them He was going to givethem one. They were about 100 years old.No doubt, their natural thoughts were,Even if God did heal our barrenness, it’s too latefor us now. We’re too old. That kind of thingcan’t happen this late in the game.But God did it for them, didn’t He? Heproved that it’s never too late for a miracle.A friend of ours experienced a “never-toolate” kind of miracle in his family. His namewas Justus Du Plessis, and although he hasnow gone home to be with the Lord, he experienced some amazing things during his lifetimeas a Pentecostal minister in South Africa. Onone occasion, his father was desperately ill. Infact, his father’s death was so imminent, thedoctor who came to see him went ahead andfilled out his death certificate.After the doctor left, the church membersgathered around to pray and, while they werepraying, he was healed. Do you know whathe did? He got up, took a shower, milked thecows and then walked to the doctor’s houseto return his death certificate.10

Talk about a miracle coming late in thegame! You know it’s late when you have totake back your own death certificate!Clearly with God, it’s never too late fora miracle.The Definitive FactorOK now, you may be thinking, if God wantsto give me a miracle and I want to receiveone—what’s the problem? Why hasn’t a miraclealready taken place in my life?For a miracle to get from heaven to earth,a divine connection has to be made. Miraclesaren’t magic. They don’t justhappen—poof!—because GodIt’s neverdecides to wave His miracletoo late forwand one day. No, miraclesa miracle.primarily occur when peopleput themselves in position toreceive them.To find out how to position yourself for amiracle, you can study the miracles in theNew Testament. You’ll see patterns emergeand find certain elements are almost always11

involved when miracles happen.The first of these elements is faith. Whenever a miracle takes place, someone on earthis believing. It might be the person whoneeds the miracle or the person who is ministering. It might be someone praying for theone who is in need. Situations may vary, butthe fact remains that it is faith in God whichconnects the power of heaven with the needon earth. For a miracle to happen, someonehas to believe that God is willing and able todo it—and to do it now.Galatians 3:5 confirms this. The ApostlePaul, rebuking the Galatians for their legalism,asks this question: “Does He Who suppliesyou with His marvelous[Holy] Spirit and worksFaith connectspowerfully and miracuthe power oflously among you do soheaven with theon [the grounds of yourneed on earth.doing] what the Lawdemands, or because ofyour believing?” (The Amplified Bible).The answer is obvious. God works miraclesbecause we believe! We could look at one12
